Who are the 76's out there that plan on being there this year? I've been watching the previous years in Armtv and looks like there's usually some big names there. So who's there this year?

Hey Joshua, I recently heard from Nathan Seamon, the current tournament directo for Ark, that Arkansas state should be held this December. I don't think the date or venue is set yet but hopefuly we'll get atleast one

Yeah John, i get the same tingling I bet. Its a pretty simple action so other then just stretching my wrist like it would flexing i dont know what else could be done. But if anyone knows of some actual stretching technique or something that might help. I was really hoping to hear that So-n-so had that problem and he did this.. but I understand I may just be stuck with it.

I did try that for a little over a month. Not long I know, but at that point there was no noticeable difference. Still do them sometimes though. Thanks

The reason I'm asking is because it keeps me at a disadvantage if I'm trying to hook. Because even if I can flex their hand in I can't turn them enough to really get them much outta neutral. So I'm wondering if there are any elite or veterans who have had this issue. How they handle it or overcame it.

You show up and weigh in, they'll put your name in the bracket for your weight class or any above it that you wanna enter(fee for each entry). Then just wait to hear your name, watch the matches, talk with some pros if you can. B/c you may not Have lost, but once you get there you'll realize that there is a lvl of Armwrestling you never knew.
Probably 95%, at least, of the ppl you'll met will be class acts and you'll love the community. Just don't let a few jerks run ya off. I hope youre able to make it in August, it's a guarantee that you'll enjoy yourself if Armwrestling has ever interested you.

Wow Brandon, crazy how one thing can change so much of what could have been. Ive never got to met you personally but ive watched you pull for the last few years and theres only a few that have more fire at the table. I know you'll be missed but I wish you the best for yourself, family, and career. Thanks also for your Service. You and all our country's Military are in my prayers. God Bless

Yeah, Devon is the high spot right now. Wish I could get some training from him regularly. But I still think its just a matter of time and opportunity till MT is number one. And MT has and will beat the Russians.

Thanks for the comment Florian. After 100 views and no comments wasn't sure my point was getting across. Anyways, glad someone thought it was reasonable.

I just recently re watched Devon and MT's super match on YouTube and while reading the "hate" speech about Todd's "style" a thought occurred to me. I'd like to share it and just see if anyone else can see the merit of it.
Simply it's like this; I know MT personally and have trained with him. I'm sure a lot of you have seen some of his YouTube videos of workouts and know how much he puts into his training. I'm not saying he can just relax and let others pull during the match and wear out or any other variation on that, personally. I'm just addressing it as its s common topic around his matches. So for the sake of the discussion lets say something of the sort is true. And so after years and years of training, sweating, and bleeding to be the best he can be, something has happened. Something has fussed, locked, or whatever adjective you'd like to use. And now his arm doesn't have full ROM. I'm not going to get into the difficulties that in itself present or the pain it causes because this isn't a feel sorry for MT thread. But, I do know for a fact he would rather have his ROM then not. And that it wasn't engineered or designed so he could have an advantage of any kind, but that he earned whatever it is through the years of training to be the best. So what would you do? Would you give up Armwrestling? Lose matches you know you can win? Would you not use what you spent years earning? Because like it or not that's what's happening. And before any of you say that you wouldn't use it here's a few thoughts. When your about to lose a match have you ever intentionally slipped? Tried to push an opponent off the pad? Elbow fouled to get a restart? See, the majority of us all do whatever it takes to win and if after 20 years of training and pulling something similar happens to you I'm betting you won't lay down a match you know you could win by using whatever is available. He didn't ask for it and it's nothing to be desired for that matter. Who would trade a WAF title or an Armwars championship for the inability to move your arm correctly? I just thought that maybe if some people could see it this way they might not be so quick to cast their judgments. And before I'm done, I don't know (crazy)George but I'd imagine a lot of the same is true for him and his situation.

Ha, I read the title and hopped in to say Mississippi, only I'd already been beaten by two others. Yes, as a resident of MS I can say its at the least one of the worst. No events, hardly any armwrestlers, and a bizillion mosquitos. In fact the only table time I've gotten I had to pay the guys gas money to get him here. If I didn't have a solid job I'd move. Incase I was unclear ... My votes for Mississippi!
One quick pro: it's relatively centraly located for the south so even though there's no tourneys here I can drive to most the other states.
