I started a similar thread a couple of years ago and got a lot of interesting feedback. Who do you think is the top right-handed armwrestler in each state and province right now? By top armwrestler, I mean imagine a tournament with just an open weight class. Who would be most likely to win this event? I've come up with the preliminary list that is shown below. I don't have names for every state, so I'm looking for help. Please let me know if you disagree with any of my choices or if I have an armwrestler listed in the wrong state.
Canada
NF – NS – Mark MacPhail PE – Charlie McGeoghegan NB – Jason Black QC – Sylvain Perron ON – Devon Larratt MB – Ryan Espey SK – Kade Revelstoke AB – Len Houghton BC – Luke Reimer
USA
AL – Terry Burgin AK – John Parton AR – Michael Todd AZ – Eric Wolfe CA – Scott Cibrowski CO – Ryan Constantino CT – Tim Bresnan DE – FL – Carey Nick GA – David Randall HI – IA – Tom Dixon ID – John Buxton IL – Blaine Middleton IN – Mike West KS – Travis Berggren KY – Sunny Gay LA – Lee Browning MA – Jerry Cadorette MD – George Stanton ME – Eric Guevin MI – Robert Bishop MN – Richard Lupkes MO – Nick Zinna MS – Joe Hunt MT – Bryan Johnson NC – Paul Walther ND – NE – Scott Lohmann NH – Rob Vigeant Jr. NJ – Marcio Barboza NM – NV – John Shaw NY – Georgi Gelashvili OH – Mike Bowling OK – Dan Whittle OR – Brandon Dye PA – Thomas Taylor RI – Allen Stilkey SC – Chad Silvers SD – Sonny Larson TX – Lindley Keating TN – UT – John Brzenk VA – Simon Berriochoa VT – Bill Sinks WA – Jacob Abbott WI – Steve Rau WV – Travis Bagent WY – Chris Chandler

Indiana might be Bill Ballinger. Although Mike West is a great armwrestler. Cobra lives in Indiana too!!

I guess that depends on what you think is the top puller. In MI Size wise not many can beat Robert Bishop, But then if you look at titles and such things you Have to look at John Creekmoore Who has beat Robert Once or twice. Then You have Alan Berget who has 1 world title and has taken 2nd place 15 times right and left handed most of them are right handed. Most of those are AAA dating back to 1992. Also Vern lange has been around a long time and has many state titles and has placed very well in the national tournaments he has been to. But Vern can Beat AL because of size and Robert can beat Vern because of size.

Interesting...me and Ryan are 1-1 RIGHT handed. I agree though....for now. Unless Matt ever decides to grace us with his presence. ;D

I believe what Eric is asking is who would win an open event held in your state, right handed no weight limit.

Thanks for the feedback. Indiana is tough to call. Mike, Bill and Cobra would be an interesting class.
I've added Simon to the list.
Yes, I'm asking about a no limit weight class. I'm only considering pullers who have competed in the past 12 months.
I think Tom and Dave are the top 2 in PA, but I don't know that they've pulled yet.

I don't think John has, I'm pretty sure Rick has & I know Shawn has, I watched him win the class

Tom and Dave train(ed) together every week for the past 2 years! Tom recently has stopped though due to work concerns. As of now he is retired. Dave did have a win over Tom in a tournament, but most days Tom beats Dave, if he still pulled.
