I think that genetics are just a little more important than 50% - 50% once you start considering the really competitive guys. What I mean is (sorry, I don't mean to echo) once you start talking about those guys who are "elite," your hard work won't catch them.

I disagree 100% Look at Engin Terzi. That guy went from losing to girls to being arguably the best lightweight ever.

Good post! I think Genetics simply help you reach your potential a little faster, and not much more. With the right mentality, dedication, and hard work you would be amazed at how far you can take yourself. Its an easier road for some than others, but who cares as long as you reach your destination!
