I've noticed a few people have voiced their displeasure with the quality of a couple recent tournaments. I think people should point out what needs to be fixed so that the promoter has a chance to fix it, probably not on a message board. I know there are certain tournament directors who just don't care (there is one in the Midwest that has apparently turned down help to bring up the quality of their once well attended tournament).

STARTING ON TIME IS A TRICKY ONE....SOMETIMES PEOPLE ARE TRAVELING FROM WAY OUT AND YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THEM....THERES NOTHTING A DIRECTOR CAN DO ABOUT THAT THOUGH.....TRAFFIC VS GETTING LOST AND ALL.

Atmosphere is the most important to me. A bar is ok sometimes but from a professional, athletic aspect; it's out of place. A fair is ok to have a tourney if it's not a State event that's held underneath a pavilion. Kentucky's state event needs to be in Louisville, Ky in Freedom Hall. Kentucky is surrounded by seven states!! Tenn. Va. Wv. Oh. In. Ill. Mo. There's no reason why we should not have 100-200 pullers at this state event. It has wound down to almost nothing..... Guess I better . I've said enough on that already, but definitely atmosphere/location.

All these issues are not a factor at any and all NAA events. Anyone who has been to one can agree.

I always thought it would be cool to have score cards on the screen when the pullers names are announced. Stats and a little bit about them and etc. The crowd needs to relate to the guys who are up on stage...

And I also think elbow fouls should be called a little less or make the pads bigger??
When I bring someone to a tournament that has NO CLUE what arm wrestling is.. seems like it is a huge let down for them when a match is called on fouls.

I see a lot of votes for not run well....... Itry to run my tournaments quick and smooth.
Also maybe a bigger elbow pad would be a good idea maybe 8x8 instead of 7x7...JMO

I think that putting on a show with music, good lighting, good announcer, adequate seating makes a huge difference to the spectators. Makes it entertaining for everyone.

^^^It would be cool to be able to show stats on the pullers...and it would defiinitely help the crowd to relate- I know I do everytime I watch UFC....interesting to know reach advantage...etc., for us what you actually weighed in at instead of just the class you're pulling in, fighting style...could be really neat- but soooooo much time and technology needed! It would be a big job for someone to pull off especially when running multiple tables like at most tourneys- awesome idea though- maybe someday soon! Elbow fouls suck....I'm sure everyone gets sick of seeing them time and time again.....but- I for one have no problem keeping my elbow in the pad (probably a lack of table time more than anything as I only started pulling in open tournaments at the beginning of the year)but I am very happy that someone on the other end of the table won't get away with it!!! You should read Brent Norris' idea on the elbow pad....nipples involved....oooohhhhh exciting!

Oh, and I also have no complaints about tournaments...just thankful we have so many dedicated and passionate people to run the show in the first place!!!!

I'm with Janie on this one. A lot of people don't realize what promoters put in to a tourney. Show a little tact before bashing an event on a public message board. Help move something forward, instead of dragging it down.
As for the armwrestler profiles at a tournament, that would be too cool if a person had the means and information to do it. I always enjoy seeing the stats for a Vendetta fight before it begins. It helps the crowd pick their favorite and get a little more interested.
