to me its not so much he was born a Muslim as the fact he grew up a muslim in a muslim country-----that shapes a person by far more than where he is born

Personally I could care less where he's from or what he practices behind closed doors. That doesn't give him the right to go around declaring we're no longer a christian nation. People wanted to change history so bad they were willing to turn a blind eye to details or lack there of. The only people in favor of this guy are low income, college students, foriegners, and aa few hard left wingers. The bottom line is he's an American communist.

People wanted to change history so bad they were willing to turn a blind eye to details or lack there of. The only people in favor of this guy are low income, college students, foriegners, and aa few hard left wingers. The bottom line is he's an American communist. Granted it's pretty crappy, but his approval rating is sitting around 45%. That's around 140 million people. I'm guessing that all those people aren't either low income, college students, foreigners, or hard core left wingers. Personally, I started leaning toward the left AFTER I graduated from college. That's after being way far right for the majority of my life, AND getting a Business degree (the majority of BA students are obviously right winged, the rest of the students called us the suits). To me it's not about hand outs or laziness. It's about the vast majority of the US getting raped by a select few. I think I've said it before and I'll say it again, we have one of THE WORST income gaps in the WORLD. This isn't because of people EARNING or working hard. This is from people "legally" stealing from US. JMO The right wing wants you to believe that you have the capability of becoming one of the 1%, but the truth is, WE CAN"T. We might as well aspire to become the next John Brzenk or Michael Jordan. It's a total false sense of pride. I admit, there ARE definitely people who leach off the system, but you would be surprised as to how small that portion is. Just curious, how many of you returned the FEDERAL stimulus check? That is the end of my rant for now. I don't know why I attempt to get involved in a system that is SO obviously not in my best interest. I guess I look at this direction as the lesser of two evils? Personally, I'm just waiting for it all to implode. I'm guessing that that's what's going to happen or we'll continue on this "magic" journey of "capitalism, socialism, or any other -ism". I've found that the ONLY thing I can do is take care of myself, and in all honesty I find that REALLY sad as a HUMAN, but oh well i guess..... End of? ;D

Why would tax payers return the stimulus check? First off it wasn't that much second if you pay taxes it was your money to begin with. Then he wants to act like you're being rewarded. Social programs for non contributers and illegals should be tresan.

I earn a good living for what I do. After federal income tax - the SS Tax ( As i call it since i may never see it ) - and the 8.25 tax on goods paid throughout the year...its around 40-45 % of my income that goes to Uncle Sam each year. ( And thats obscene enough ) But whattaya do... Return the stimulus check??? I'm glad to get back a tip of the tax iceberg every once in a while. No shame in that.

Honest question. Do you, and/or anyone else on this thread, believe that someone cannot be a "true" American if they're a Muslim? was there a time that Blacks were not considered as American as the Whites over there?

Yes but that is not the same.
Some americans have the impression that Muslims are anti American at their core.
It is commonly viewed as a strategic attack to take down our country.
Maybe just by conspiracy nuts. But I have not met very many people who feel differently.
It's believed by many that Muslims should not be in our military for the same reasons.
Point is the color of skin does not indicate ones intentions, motives, and priorities.
But ones religion most definitely does.

skin colour does it too, esspecially if you have been treated like animals for centuries.in fact i have met Black Americans who still did not forget about the slavery.whenever you start to treat fair then you get treated fair.it is same with the Muslims as well.in fact,Saladin treated Christians as fair as possible that even today's Christians still remembers him with respect.but compared to KKK i see a positive progress about these kind of matters.

You can point fingers all day long if thats what you want to do. Italians ans Irish were chastised as bad as any when they first came over. You don't see to much spilled milk over that. What about the japanese Americans thrown in concentration camps during world war II? Or the Asains used to build rail roads then forced retreat to under ground cities at night. There were injustices to more then blacks and indians. That is old news and over played. Almost all american professional sports are dominated by african americans. Any where in the us outside of Nevada you have to be indian to own a casino. Thats not reverse discrimination. The Us is as tolerant if not more than any other nation for race. They didn't call it the melting pot for nothing.

then it is time to stop anti-Islamic movement in 21. century.if anti-Semitism is a crime then anti-Islamism is also a crime.they were old times and Muslims are the new times targets.

Not likely to happen anytime soon. Regardless of thoughts you and I may share or disagree on. There remains one simple fact that resonates throughout the country....... Attachments:

Not likely to happen anytime soon. Regardless of thoughts you and I may share or disagree on. There remains one simple fact that resonates throughout the country....... if this is committed by radicals then its the fault of the 1,5 billion Muslims? then US to give WMD to Saddam who used them against the Iran and Kurds,is the fault of the American public? also why ; " So we've never made the case, or argued the case that somehow Osama bin Laden [sic] was directly involved in 9/11. That evidence has never been forthcoming" - Dick Cheney. Rex Tomb of the FBI's public affairs unit said, " The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Osama bin Laden's Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11".

Why does everyone across the world always say the kkk this kkk that but NEVER EVER mentions what the black panthers do. Not much longer than a month ago thousands of black panthers threatened the city of jennings because one black guy got fired for a dumb reason. Its been over a hundred years since there were slaves but people are still complaining. But Thousands of people threaten a city with automatic weapons but nothing gets said. Im not taking up for certain groups but why does everybody point the finger at them and no one else.
