It is nov 13th and theres no 220 class its 242. You gotta be kiddin me....... 40 lb weight classes?......wow oh excuse me...... just when it hits 199 Quinn who is it that your worried about pulling at 242 that wouldn't make the 220's, John Brzenk can make 220 lol what about RVJ heck I bet your old buddy Dave can still make 220........just show up and beat them all!!! just messing with ya but I really dont see why anyone over 198 worries about what class directors run, in many cases you end up with the 242 winner and the supers winner being the same person

USAA always does 199-242 (well 99% of the time anyway) don't know why this is surprising? David Owens post says it all.

Not hardly!!....I was thinking more on the lines of Sunny Gay, Max Moore or possibly John Bates if he can make 242....I seriously doubt Brzenk or RVJ will ever make Ky Muscle.......

talked to Sunny the other day he's not making 242's either, Max could probably make 220 I would think, whats he 230ish? of course Tim McFearson beats all of those you mentioned and he's a 220, Doug Allen as well
you can only run so many classes before you water down the competition in a major way and who is to say a 242 guy won't be crying cuz you get rid of the 242 class and make it 220, then 221 and up for that guy, your never gonna please everyone, but like I said if you can't make 198 you better train for the best 220 guy out there cause he will probably wipeout most of the heavys as well

Max was 220 when Tim pulled him last year......either way it's gonna be alot of work for everyone

There should always be a 220 class. There are just as many 220s than any other weight class. Its what's keeping me from not attending.

KY Muscle past results 199-242 class 2009 Open Right 199-242: Andrew Casto/ Kenny Flynn/ Yerhen Litovtsen/ Jonathan Vogt/ J. Gilliland, M. Moore Open Left 199-242: Yerhen Litovtsev/ Max Moore/ Jesse Gilliland 2008 Right 199-242: Dave Chaffee/Andrew Casto/ Adis T. Left 199-242: Sunny Gay/ Brent Rakers/ Chris Heath/ Josh Hymore So other than Sunny Gay and Kenny Flynn everyone on these results could make 220 and a couple of them are 198's, like I said not every tournament can support a 220's class and if you replace the 242 class with a 220 class then its the 242 guys not showing up.....you CAN'T please EVERYBODY unless of course you are UNIFIED NATIONALS.

Hey replace the 198 class with the 220. Curious why that's not Considered.

Hey replace the 198 class with the 220. Curious why that's not Considered. sometimes it is, the fact is that the directors use whatever classes they think will best benefit their tournament. For instance at our TAA event in Dec, there is no 154 or 176 class, instead they are met in the middle with a 165 class. personally for my benefit I would rather have a 176 class because 165 is a serious cut for me(so 198's for me that day) but at the time I did what I thought would be best for the event. I see your point about the 198's but the fact is that there are WAY more active pullers at 198 who would not show up in the 220 class compared to the amount of 220's who would not show up in the 242's. besides Frank of all the names on that list how many do you think you couldn't beat? I would put you on the front end of every one of those classes except one JMO

You know Frank you shouldn't be pulling a 220 class anyway..................Why? Because if you are as good as you seem then expand yourself. Save the 220 pulling for Nationals and big pro events and pull year round in the heavies or if you must the 242 class. I laughed my butt off reading how you won't pull unless there is a 220 class. Your loss.
