David I'll have them made up by next weekend. Karen, I've broken 1. But as with everything, a $10 strap wears out, especially when big guys are pulling againist them or while tightening them. The plastic buckles are rated at 300lb tension strength, David pass the word, if you break one within a short time, I'll replace it for free. Karen, take a picture of the AAA metal strap and I'll make you some of them, because the webbing wears out on them no matter what. It sucks that some matches don't stand a chance when using a 10yr worn out strap...

They are washed and dried after tournaments too and they just keep holding up. But thanks for the offer anyway. I've got a whole wheel of webbing being made into straps right now - all with metal buckles.

Thanks Andy for getting my 1" WAF strap shipped so quickly. We used it during our Round Robin tournament this past Saturday, unfortunately I am 0-1 in that strap. I will be ordering a 3/4" strap in the near future, the 1" strap makes it a little difficult to get a grip for some guys.

I definetly prefer the buckled straps if they are put on properly . Single buckle I believe is best . They give equal pressure to both pullers ,it is up to the puller to train with the straps and know what works best for them when they ultimatly end up in them and everyone does at some time in there career .Velcro I beleive don't last and eventually wear out , are also not able to be as tight therefore hands can still slip in the strap or come out .aaa always had the double buckle strap but these did not account for different hand sizes thus possibly favoring one puller the center ring also at times got in the way .If you don't like the buckle on the back of your hand at a tournament watch which ref is setting up the straps and get on the opposite side or ask not to have it some pullers like myself will gladly take it .And don't forget to train in the straps atleast 20% of your trainigntime so you are ready for them in a tournament!
