It inspires me when some family or coworkers see videos of one of my tournaments, and are amazed & impressed, but at the same time i know im at the bottom of the pile, workin my way up the mountain. Makes me work harder.
It inspires me to see a teammate take alot of losses, when their training & diet is meticulous, and never lose the fire to be at the top. Iggy u inspire me bro.
It inspires me to be a part of such a close knit team like TAA. I get a text from 1 or 2 of them almost everyday about training or pulling or something. Keeps the coals stirred up & burning hot.

Thanks Travis, I wish I could say I didn't have to work hard trying to be both of those things, feels great to know some of that work is paying off ps If these people ever meet you in person they will find out what a good dude you are and then your jokes wont have near the effect but until then your secret is safe with me

James your freaking awesome bro! Struck a chord in me reading that. I am inspired first and foremost by my Lord and Savior and to do what is acceptable and pleasing in His eyes. No matter what happens, win, loose, draw, or even how fired up I am from winning one match out of fifty, I'm not fired up that I won for me but that I may bring praise, glory, and honor to His name. I am always thankful in for Him in good times and in bad and never give up hope in Him so long as I have one breath remaining in this body. Second, I am thankful for such awesome teammates! Eric Walls for having a hook that to me is like pulling John Brzenk and feels like I just cannot move him. It shocks and just amazes me to see someone beat him in a hook because I know what it takes. Definitely good motivation. And for training with me after work until 2 o'clock in the morning and keeping me humbled no matter how much crap I talk about thumping his A. It's all in fun of course just challenging each other to do better. James Worke for always supporting me and being there even when times are tough. Definitely feels like family anytime he's around and gives me that extra little push to train. My brother in the Lord! David Owens for teaching me the techniques and answering my relentless questions. Teaches me my why I lost and is a great coach. Couldn't ask for a better coach! Kirk for being just an awesome friend and always bring a smile to your face when you see him. ALL of my teammates because I see how strong they're getting and it gives you that extra push so that you don't get left behind them in training. Hard to believe its almost been a year. Thanks guys!

Michael, that was terrific ! If everyone had your attitude, the world would be a greater place. By looking at your forearm, Id guess you were undefeated !
