Gives me a reason to stay relatively healthy other than not wanting to have a heart attack before I'm 30.......

Watching guys like klemba and fisher compete with the youngsters. Having been dominant at one time, the desire to return to that form keeps me motivated. It helps to have two sons that compete as well. Glad you asked Kyle ! Congrrats on your recent wins as well..

I am inspired by all who expect me to lose and all who expect me to win.
My training partners and friends.
My children and grand children.
I am inspired by hard work that breeds hard work, followed by fruits of labor.
By ideas.
By kind words like Kirk's to live up to.
My desire to use up my resources by the time I'm dead. When I am in the box I do not want people to be saying how good I look but rather how used up I am and how he didn't waste anything God gave him. He's done!
I think the real question is what motivates you? Inspiration is easy for me. Doing something about it takes motivation.
Peace, Chief

Peace, Chief I like that a lot Ron well said. undeniable When i was young it was the relentless pursuit to be the best. The last decade motivation has just simmered at best. The last 2 years arthritis is getting worse contant painful swollen finger and wrist sometimes Great subject !!

I think the real question is what motivates you? Inspiration is easy for me. Doing something about it takes motivation. I agree. I'm not really inspired by anything in particular, but what drives/motivates me is people NOT believing in me, or telling me I can't do something. I don't know if it's good/healthy to be motivated out of spite, but it's got me where I am today in life and armwrestling. Also I would say I have the general drive to be the best at something.

Good post Ron! I am inspired to do my best for God no matter what it is at I remember when I was young and living a very different life one of my friends had a saying painted on his car I thought was great and have always tried to live by. BETTER TO WEAR OUT THAN TO RUST I am inspired by John Parton and Tom Nelson telling me I can't beat my dad ;D I am inspired by Ron Klemba, Cobra Rhodes, Junior Andrews and anyone else who gives me one in the LOSS catagory. I am fueled by living up to the expectations of my TAA teammates who expect me to do nothing but win I am JACKED UP about any name ahead of mine on a rankings list.........if it wasnt for this I would hang it up. good thing there are so many names out there!
