first off i`d like to say that i`ve pract with jerry on and off for yrs. he always hooks with us..very rarely does he press..when he does its not flopped.just a hard shoulder press. for all the top rollers that dont like his flopped wrist press, then dont try and take his hand..i`ve seen so many toppers so proud that they took his hand only to find out they couldnt take the rest of him..his arm..so if all you top rollers think its ok to take someones hand, wrist, fingers then dont cry when you cant take the game to finish bcause you couldnt beat the arm..hence the term..armwrestling..also..when your wrist is bent back like(bcause someone made it bend back) that it bcomes stretched and tires your whole arm.your arm blows up.. YES !!! That's my point.... To a degree.. Jerry gets hated on, he is awkward, but pulls within guidelines and can be stretched out.... You just have to be strong enough.... Which few are. On the other hand.... AGAIN.... There is NO room for movement in the straight arm lever which means being stronger is not a factor. I'm cool with the flop, the latter...... No way

Put it this way.... Can ams 06..... I rifled bob mock.... Quick easy match We pull in finals.... He straightens his arm out completely and lays under the table after I easily stretch him right out as before. Difference is, after beating him muscle wise I had to deal with his jammed elbow joint that only bends if I break it.... I told the ref "make him stand up!!" I tried to break it too.... Fu(k him..... But I couldn't He stood me up for a bit SOLELY on his elbow joint... From experience it is real...... I was WAY stronger and with this BS he tied me up and appeared equal.... On joint alone
Ya.... I said it .....BONE LOCK !!! It's not armwrestling .... It's a loophole in the rules

i honestly don't think its about the injury when you boil everything down.. the injury is limiting these atheletes in many other ways as well - as in their ability to train hard and make gains without crazy arthritis pain, atrophy due to decreased ROM.. I think that people like to smash a stone when they should just go around it.. and i really think Brent nailed it there^^^^ this answer is 100% right believe me i am someone who cant straighten my RH arm out all the way and it limits the types of lifts you can do in the gym because you feel you are hyper extending yourself . Doing one arm rows is also very frustrating for me because of it Limits you on the lockout of any pressing lift which is annoying and also doing curls with a straight bar bothers mine

^^^ well if that's the case... Let's remove all the hurdles for the guy who has hamstring issues and find it difficult to hop over.... Really?
To the core.... This isn't really about an injury... It's about physics I could explain ...AGAIN... But if you read my past posts and don't get it... Then you won't

the point is that its as much a hinderance as it is any kind of help
I cant speak for Mike but i have thought many times of retirement because of being frustrated with training but the love of the sport keeps me going

I realize I am mr nobody, but where there's a will, there's a way. If sombody does that particular "move" and the only way to win is to break your opponents arm, then break their damn arm! When we weigh in for an event we all sign a waiver or a release of some kind, and its your responsibility to adhere to the rules. I don't care if I'm pulling with my best friend,if he puts himself in a position where the only way to win is to injure him, then so be it,go balls out and when the dust settles it is what it is! I don't want to injure anybody, but that being said I still want to win!

It should not come to that, when a person gets into a position where the only way a guy can in is to break his opponants arm then the ref should stop it.
