Here , A GREAT idea..make a 30 sec video and show the ratings that the 04 Nats Supers Left got on ESPN.Then you go to all the vendors at the Arnold OR now, Mail it to all the Vendors ( oops that will cost $, maybe the "Armwrestlers should foot that bill too) and ask for ONLY $250... IMAGINE the $ that COULD generate? I beat the prize $ would stay the same. Oh and the Refs would still be doing it for free! That should've been done YEARS AGO! Hey GARY ROBERTS, YOU should do this too!

Whoopie dee doo... SMART "DONATING" $...... VASGEN SHOULD'VE WENT TO THESE "BIG TIME BUSINESS OWNER/SPONSORS" THEN, IF THEY LIKE GIVNIG $ AWAY WITH NO RETURN? So then Y not then have BIG SPONSOR 1 AND 2 "DONATE " the 5k to "save' one of the MOST PRESTIGOUS "ARMWRESTLING" EVENTS IN THE WORLD? They are generous fellow athletes who see his potential and wanted to help. That is all. Why don't they donate 5k to save the arnold? Why don't they just give all of their money away? Why is it dark at night? Why is the sky blue? I guess they haven't done enough for you yet eh? LOL HELLO? Well they GAVE IT to VASGEN...TO FRIGGIN "Armwrestle" Enough for me? Who are they, that they did enough for me?... and Whats the LOL for?

PS: Vazgen's sponsers have bigger schlongs than yours did Christian.

Here is the solution, Entry Fee 150.00 no qualifying touranments, New weight classes 175-199 200- 242 243+ Right and Left hand New weight classes 0-125 126-150 151-176 177+ Right Handed woman, Single Elimantion Touranment This will show who really wants to armwrestle and who really wants to bitch and complain, single elimantion goes very fast and you will have enough time to finish the touranment. The reason for no light weight class for men, because honestly nobody cares, it the same as watching to fat woman in a bikini, thats correct no one does. But we need the the light weight woman, their always strong and sexy looking. The heavyweight woman need to be here, they are strong and fun to watch, because they would cruch the lightweight guys.

Maybe after the Arnold I can get some help with the CAN-AM Championships which ran for 25 yrs in same location till Budweuser decided to put their money elsewhere. Would love some help keeping that event going.

WOW!!!! A 10,000.oo dollar sponsor is not enough to hold this event??? What does it cost to have an event at the Arnold ?? This could possibly be the BEST venue in all of armwrestling, and it's struggling to exist? ??

I'll clear the air regarding Vazgen's sponsership: Sponser 1 happens to be an armwrestler and his business has a traditional marketing adjenda that isn't relying on a return from his financial donations to armwrestling. Sponser 2 owns a private gym that caters to elite clientel, and does not advertise at all. Both sponsers are elite athletes in their diciplines. Vazgen was selected because of his extreme focus, and dedication to his dicipline, not because of the potential ROI. Andy hit the Target on this question.

I respect your opinion Christian, also I do it writing peoples' names correctly... . But I don't want to go away from the theme of this thread. And being sponsored or not, My position would be the same about this problem. The problem is not about persons or organization. We always talk about how to make AW more popular, be an Olympic sport, involve money and large sponsors. There is a problem inside AW too. This is a great example where we can see can we get really UNITED in a critical situation? Or the word of "UNITED" is just the official name of the America? We do this for us, our sport... Also I can see that $25 made a tornado in some peoples' peaceful life. For somebody it is just a case of beer that flows into the toilet after 30 mins, packs of cigarettes, a piece of marihuana maybe... . Compare the problem and the equivalent... .
I wish I could have that $5 000. Then I would just mail it to Denise without even notifying anyone.

Then would you do it again next year Vazgen? I'm not hating on Denise and Leonard, but this is comparable to my employer asking me to give them money to keep my job, don't get me wrong I love my job , but how long is that going to last?

Hey Vazgen... get Leonard to set up a Paypal account. Those who want to support will support, those who don't have that choice. I am comfortable throwing my $25 behind the event.
Kenny, my job is unionized. I pay every two weeks to keep my job.

Yes, Ryan. Leonard is ckecking now with Denise about electronic payments, outside US as well. I think they will post it as they get it.
You know Ryan, I am confused a little. Is $25 too much or the mentality is too poor?

If you asked everyone to throw in $5 there would still be some questioning it.

And if I got to explain that out, when you and most can never get what I am saying, when i spell things it out for you, I won't. Good luck with you sponsorship, your fundraising, and most of all ur "Armwrestling" career..
