whoa, you are comparing tullier to this other kid? Big difference. Im all for calling someone out, in a normal way, not this bull where you ask are you scared, and all this disrespect. We are Paul's friends, not just team-mates. Damn right we will always be ready to defend him aggressively, In any way, always. We are holding a tourny late July or early August. You just became the super-match for it. So you let me know what weekend works best, it will be fun to have our local people celebrate Paul's National Title's and see him in a match vs. a guy who went this route. So dont be scared, name your amount, I will match it, and even work with you on some costs. You got what you wanted.

I agree with you Johnny;
I have learned two undeniable and indisputable facts about armwrestling.
1. Anybody can be beaten.
2. Styles make matches.
The difference in your analogy is that Craig was, and is once again, a decorated champion with a history in the sport. As of today, Josh has neither. Not hating, just stating facts. Can he beat Paul? I think everybody has a chance for an upset, as armwrestling has proven over and over again. Does he deserve to interject himself into such a match bypassing every other proving ground? In my opinion, no.

And it only took him 24hrs guys, to get what he wanted. Bravo. Maybe he learned a few things in the process, but the man got what he set out to do in a 24hr period.

Paul, Are you coming to the USAA Nationals in CT in a couple of weeks to try for the $4,000 Triple Crown? It is a Pro-Am event too so there is prize money.

So Josh pulls at 198. Beats Ray and Colby wins 198 states in Alabama a few months ago. Congrats! Calling out a 165 pound guy? Can you even make 165? Try Herman Mcoy or Randy Weaver. How bout Mike Vaz? Eric Wolfe? Stick with your weight category. What are you trying to prove? These guys are top notch in your weight class. Try them. Just saying. do your home work my man befor you speek,Josh pulles 65's and 76's and 98's his class is 76's!!!!

As outsiders to this action, everyone can put their own twist on what occurred in this post. I have no dog in this fight, so I am not biased to either side. Paul Talbott proved himself, and Mr. Bishop wants a piece. I can respect that, setting your sights high is key in this sport. I'd much rather set my sights high and miss, then set my sights too low and hit. In the future Mr. Bishop, show your prospective opponent the proper respect when challenging him publicly and get his name right when you stir the pot.

I feel the same way being an outsider. On my rugby team we have the same kinda problems with respect to other team mates who have achieved alot more than the rookie players. But it looks like his point was made and i feel it was all in fun and it will be a good show

I may as well add to this. I think it is blown out of proportion. I know Paul, and his team mates very well. They are all incredible pullers, and they are good people as well. Paul trains his ass of and won the Unifides, and he is the current national champion. Now, I know the Bishops train their asses off too. Just because Josh didn't go to nationals, does not mean he is not a contender. The Bishops are for real, and they can armwrestle. Paul is the real deal, and he has proven that! Personally, I feel that if Josh wants to pull Paul, then he should make a trip up north, and put his money down. Jim Wagner will set it up, and Josh will get his wish. This will be a good one!!

Justin why dont you come on up too and we can see how you handle these Girls? I bet the crying wont be out of any Erie guy. Respect can be taken from you if not offered, good lesson to learn.
The match is being set up now, money and all being worked out, I will remove my own feelings from this so the young man wont have any problems other then pulling Paul. He will be treated well off the table.

Jim that comment wasnt intended 4 just you but take it how you will! All i read on this board is how much ppl love this sport and love pulling blah blah then when some1 ask some1 to a match every1 believes you gota climb a later to do it and all kind of crap about respect.I respect some1 by asking 4 a super match bc i wana beat the best not a nobody and if your The Man and your offering me money to come and beat you im coming to do it. its that simple, as far as pulling "girls" ill come and pull any1 in my class Jim bc i believe if your the best you should pull the best and i will do it.
