i agree with knuckles down hitting into the wrist..we actually practice this at our club...but we also post off our elbow with an upward pressure because this move does leave you open to a top roll hit

from the lower part of your hand pushing into there hook pressure...it will almost feel like your purposely trying to dump your wrist...it takes a lot of practice i find to utilize this move because of the years of training to keep your wrist up..you feel very vulnerable but it works great against 1 dimensional pullers..i.e. the Japanese who usually always hook..another great example would be Chris Gobby....if im pulling right hand..i usually post off the far left side of the pad increasing my side pressure....

In my opinion the easiest way to counter a hook is with a low hand toproll. You can take the power right out of a hooker if you execute this move properly.
Here is a video instruction from Devon Larratt (with Jeff Slater) demonstrating the Low Hand Toproll
if the hooker would just stop trying to curl his wrist and decided to turn it outward instead effectively turning it to a top roll he would if fast enough get a better top roll position on you.
When I click on the link it gives me the option to open or save. I'm not sure if yours does that or not. To be honest, I'm not a real computer guy, my brother does all that for the website.
