Who are your favorite referees?
Let's only say good things that you like about a referee. Let's not say that I DON"T like someone because of this. Let's say that I DO like this referee and list the reasons why you feel that they are a good referee.
Let me say this again..... If someone says they like a certain referee and you do not, let it go. Keep it to yourself. Let's make this a positive post.
Thanks

Good thread Rick, being a ref is a tough job!
"Remember they have to call what they see, not what we think occurred"
Here is a few good ones: Cliff Hall, Margio Ciaccio, Don Underwood, Mike Todd, and Leonard Harkless...Got to go with Cliff as my favorite! I think we all have a certain ref that we feel more comfortable with.

Leonard Harkless, Keith Michel, and Bob Brown....One thing I like about these guys is that they are very firm in their calls and don't really take crap from pullers when they get out of line. Very level headed refs.

I might add that I haven't had experience with any referees from the eastern part of the US, but from what I've seen on video, Karen Bean and Josh Stark seem like both great people and referees.

To me the best ref's are the ones who DON'T come to the table with attitude. They DON'T take it personal when an armwrestler does something wrong. They DON'T get upset when the armwrestler disagrees with the call. They DO explain their call when someone disagrees using the RULES as written.
