My first round picks:
W. Silva/I. Vovchanchyn: Tough decesion here. I think Vandy would take this one though after going the distance with Hunt. Wandy by UD.
Q. Jackson/R. Coture: Easy one here, Randy by 2nd rd KO. Jackson is a great wrestler but wouldn't be able to handle Randy.
M. Ninja/H. Yoshida: Yoshida. Only because Ninja got fat and hasn't really been all the impressive lately. Though Royce did school Hideo in their rematch.
Royce Grace/C. Liddell: Yep, Gracie's game is scouted and Chuck can throw some big leather and sprawl. Chucky by KO late 1st rd.
K. Sakuraba/V. Belfort: Sak got lazy and Vitor got off the juice, if only this match could have happened when they were both winning. Sak by sub in the 2nd after Vitor gasses.
M. Bustamante/A. Overeem: Bustamante by Split Dec. Both are excellent fighters, but I'm a Bustamante fan.
Renzo Gracie/R.Arona: On the premise that you should probably never bet against two Gracies in one event, the goes to Renzo on this one. Though I probably should have picked Ryan Gracie for the matchup.
T. Ortiz/C.Newton: Tito would be too big, too strong, and hit too hard for Newton to handle. Tito by KO in the 2nd.

Sorry John, my misunderstanding. I thought when you said: The sport has evolved since royce won the first two UFC and then the fourth. , that you were implying that Royce was out of date with his fighting stile rather than saying that the other fighters around him have changed their game plans. Again sorry. I hope we can still be friends.

I have wrestled with Tank abbott, tito ortiz. Both of those guys go to the wrestling room at the college I go to. I train 2-3 days a week with Todd Medina.
Todd fought in ufc 5 and in smaller shows. A lot of the guys I train with fight as well. We have a cage in the gym. good times

My second round picks:
Wandy/Randy: The dream match that will never happen. Ring or cage I give the nod to Randy, Silva has shown he can be vulnerable to takedowns and I don't think he'd be able to handle someone as relentless as Randy.
Yoshida/Chuck: Same result as Royce, with probably a little more of a beatdown. Only chance I see Yoshida having is taking it to the mat and trying to neutralize Chuck's game. John, and veiws on Hideo's Gracie/Frye matches being possible works?
Sak/Bustamante: Sak's record against Brazilians is amazing, no real point for me to think otherwise. If Sak came in shape and healed up it would be nice. I really hate betting against Busta though.
Renzo/Tito: Renzo might pose a problem for Tito, but not so much of one where I think he'd be the favorite. Tito by KtFO

My semi and final round picks:
Semi:
Randy/Chuck: Would be interesting to see these two outside the octagon. Nod goes to Randy again, though Chuck may have an easier time sprawling and landing in the ring.
Sak/Tito: Same conclusion as Tito/Newton, though Sak's a little better in submissions.
Final:
Randy/Tito: Wow, I can't believe I have two UFC fighters left, lol. Again my vote goes to Randy, he dominated Tito the first time, and hasn't seem have let up one bit.

How much weight has Tito Ortiz gone up in his career, seems to me he's alot bigger now than he was when he started.

I dont think chuck could do much with Royce. he is a great stricker but man that is nothing new to Royce. Rememebr Royce was making great strikers mad LONG before Chuck Lidell even thought of fight pro. Now I am biased to the Gracie Academy and wont lie about it..lol but I just cant see picking against one of the gracies.. especially Royce, Ricson, or Ryan . Not saying they cannot lose.. Anyone can lose. But I sure like their chances over anyone elses. I do agree that Randy would finish Tito much in the same way he did last time. Tito has not looked impressive in some time. and the belfort fight was a joke. Tito NEVER had any full offence going. He is lucky to have got out of the fight with his face intact, much less to have won. Vitor started to swing then ran out of gas..had he been able to throw his bones even for another 30 seconds..Tito wouldnt have made it out of the 2nd round. Plus the guy talks too damn much. "Tito should be in the WWF, he talk to much. talk talk talk, his job is to talk, my job is to fight" Vitor Belfort on Tito Ortiz. I agree with Vitor 100% tito COULD be a great fighter..if he would stop being such a premadonna. How many guys you know talk trash after getting his ass KICKED??? watch the Ortiz Lidell fight then. .. God I thought I got away from talking fighting when I got out of that sport..but here we go..lol J

Jeet Kune Do was both a philosophy and a martial art, but one that shouldn't have existed. Before he died, Bruce closed all his schools because everyone thought he has some sort of "secret" he wasn't teaching.
The philosophy of JKD is pretty much not being confined to certain schools of thought. It's about finding what works best for the individual, not necessarily best technique for the average person.
I took JKD for a little while and while I enjoyed it, I would have been better served training with someone who does current MMA fighting.

Latest Episode:
Well this week's episode marked the return of the "Cat Smasher", Chris Leben. While I think it's kind of silly, I have to admit it was pretty refreshing to see Chris' psychotic grin. I'm left wondering if he'll face Koschek again.
Diego fought Josh R. this week in what can only be described as an utter clinic by Diego. Diego came out and closed the gap, took Josh R. down with an ankle pick, and unleashed a ground and pound without mercy. What surprised me was how patient Diego was with his GnP, not going all out but picking Josh R. apart. Josh eventually gave up his back and Diego put it to an end with a rear naked choke.
So what's up for next week? Hell if I know, Spike TV was stupid enough to drown out the sound for some kung-fu movie promotion while the preview aired. They really need to hire me as an editor.
