Joe,
I saw diego fight out here in King of the Cage. He is a relentless fighter with great intentisity. Stupid choice for Josh.
Did you watch "The Contender" ? That looks like it will be a good show also

He lost in the ufc after Kimo. So Gracie did end up hurting his leg bad. OUCH!

Tony,
He couldn't continue his fight after Kimo due to dehydration and exhaustion.
He lost a fight in Pride for the same reason to sakuraba(nicknamed the gracie hunter)
He had a no contest in pride, and also a draw to the same fighter, Yoshida

I didn't get the chance to see The Contender, but from what I've heard it's an excellent show. Did you ever catch "The Next Great Champ"? Good lord, it was terrible.
Still sucks that Nate had to drop out of the contest, though that they kept him on as an assistant trainer is way cool.

If I was anyone else in Pride, I would fear a man called Gracie hunter. ;D

I don't know what it is, but the title "Gracie Hunter" sends chills down my spine. ;D

Joe, vandi only KO'd him twice. Saks' shoulder came out of socket in the first match, and he had vand in trouble.
My vote for best fight in pride(based on technical beauty) was sak v newton

Was the episode I saw this past Sunday a repeat ? Sorry I have not been following it that closely.
I did not ever fight this type of combat, but I really had to question his tactic, easy to do now that he got thrashed but from the moment after they touched gloves I questioned his approach, that tall high reaching stance only works if you never stop throwing the jab, and follow with right hands, I would have thought a more neutral position making better use of his legs would have worked better.

Latest Episode:
I didn't catch most of the show but I did see the last thirty minutes. This week was Alex vs Forrest.
The fight was great for the first minute or so, excellent exchanges by both guys. Alex was holding his own very well and may have even been winning up to the point where it went to the ground. Forrest eventually gained the mount on Alex and GnPd his way to victory, submission by strikes. The last two fight have gone this way, really wish these guys had more time to train for ground work on their back.

Who won last night? I fell asleep after round one! It looked like Chris was all over him!

Kenny won on stoppage. Chris had Kenny up against the cage, BUT Kenny elbowed Chris above the right eye and opened it up pretty bad, so the Dr. stopped the fight.

Latest Episode:
Leben was destroying Kenny until Kenny hit him with a bow that opened a cut that stopped the fight. Really sad because Chris was picking him apart.
Good news though, next week is Sanchez vs Koschek, classic wrestler vs bjj grappler. That one will be worth watching.

That will be great because Josh should finally get that butt kicking I've wanted to see him get!
Too bad for Chris but he just looks to predictable in there and I don't see where he is getting any power that they keep talking about. watching him use the speed bag was pitiful. Hillary Swank in "Million Dollar Baby" looked better!
