Ive done a 501.5 bench in competition at 217. Just to show how lazy I was my best pull in comp was a 525 and a miss at 550. Needless to say I worked harder on my bench then my deadlift. There are some good numbers in this thread. Does anyone still compete or train heavy on the powerlifts?

Dang Steve!!!500lb bench for 10 reps!!!Makes my 410lb seem kind of weak. I did hit 225lb for 28 reps once. Wanted to see how I compared to the NFL combine. 585lb dead lift 2 reps. 465lb squat 4 reps. All of that was two back surgery's ago.

I benched 365 lbs in my senior year of H.S. (17 yrs old) at 175 lbs. Never really touched the bench after that,
On the machine bench however, I benched 400 lbs, I guess you can see the difference. hehe
At the same time period, I leg pressed 600 lbs 70 reps. but it was a machine, so I guess you can take like 10-15% off of the weight =( After that daily performance, I developed alot of water in my knees, so stopped that as well.
I never deadlifted, didn't like its strain on the back.
Dan Fortuna should post his bench, I think it was around 420 lbs.

o, and for those of you having trouble with the kilo system...
if you want kilograms (kg) from pounds (lb), you divide by 2.2, if you want vise versa, you multiply by 2.2
