your what?
Alll i was doing was adressing the error in both the movie in the book. Addressing the point biblicaly as to why christians dont need and shouldnt watch the movie. or atleast why it is "fictional" and the bible discredits the claim that jesus was married.
The only thing that upsets me is when "christians" endorse the movie or other movies/books like it.
If you guys think its no big deal thats fine. but christians find it to be a very big deal. You want us to respect your views on the subject? respect ours.

Regardless of "any" comment you have to come back with... this is a disrespectful comment... movie or no movie. Thats why I mentioned your name Christian. I just need to remember as Christ said..........forgive them for they know not what they do.

Okay this is how I see it. First The DaVinci Code I believe only helps the christian faith. So far since the movie opened I have been fielding questions left and right about what is real, and what is not. These are coming from kids, all the way up to 50 yr old adults. This in my eyes is only exposing many to the questions that they do not answer each and every day as non-christians. So lets take up the challenge and get-er-done!!!!
As far as Tolkiens LOTR series being christian..... Nothing could be further from the truth. Tolkien wanted to to create an alternate world that showed a absolute between two forces. One evil and one good. He did quite well, and he passed it along to the world of fantasy that is today. In his books there were many gods and dieties, and thus his books would be seen as blasphemy, or satanic. I read fantasy more than any other armwrestler Im quite sure, and I see it all as a way for me to get out of my everyday life. It having all these different gods should not make it bad, nor should it make me evil. Fiction is fiction and it should be nothing more. The DaVinci code is not sold next to the bible in book stores, rather its sold in fiction. Please never forget that the bible once was sold in fiction sections of book stores. Though it may hurt you and I both to hear that, but it is true none the less, and we should never take for granted how good we christians have it in todays world.

defenitly agree that movies like the davinci code help some people question there beliefs and why they believe what they believe thus possibly strengthening the faith. By making them ask questions they wouldnt normally ask. That doesnt make it any less blasphemous.
