I know Bob, has there ever been any confirmed reports of that happening or is it just one of those myths? I guess it was just a myth. But my wife and I (2 BIG TIME CAT LOVERS) played it safe when our children were infants. Why take a chance?

I'd love to have a couple of 150 pound cats around the yard. I wonder how my neighbors Rottweillers(sp) would enjoy their company? ;D It would probably be a little more quite around here!

I've always wanted to own a Tiger but I guess a dog is just as good. I like cats but I like Dogs better. I had an interesting dog unfortunately she died. She was half pit/half lab. She was a good dog loved kids didn't bite people that came into the yard in cars an wouldn't bother nobody when she was running around we let them run around off the chain. My cousins pits stayed with her Sadie (SAY-DEE) an baby. an they played with her alot. This woman down the road liked her an offered to get her spayed for me which I shouldn't have ever let her cause I woulda liked to have let her have a litter of puppies but anyways the docs didn't stich her up good an her stiches broke an her guts fell out an she died I didn't even get to see her after the surgery cause that woman had kept her at her house. IT kinda pissed me off. She was a good dog. Her name was Angel.

LOL. Justin, remind me never to write you a long post. LOL
Also an update, they called the authorities, and the authorities came out, and laughed. The guy from animal control actually played with Cooper for awhile before he left. He said they have a proper fence, and proper postings, so they were fine.

The p.s. was for the grammatical train wreck in your post above. Amen, I couldn't finish the whole story?? Justin, I believe very few news stories regarding Pitbulls as they usually have an agenda to ban the bred. The real story should be more about the irresponsible pet owners who don't understand what they own and their responsibility in controlling their animal.

I would like to add one more thing to the pitbull issue (rots, bull mastifs, etc. etc.). Fellas out there (not naming anyone, so don't take it personally), owning a tough dog doesn't make you tough!!!!
This statement stems from the dozens of "gang bangers" in my town that think if you have a pit, you're magically a "bad ass." I got news for these guys, a bad ass dog or a big truck doesn't make you a tough guy!!! Come to grips with where you are in life and move on!!!
Pits are cool dogs, it pains me to say that I am scared of the breed (there I said it again).

I don't think a tough dog makes me a bad ass I think it makes a fun dog to have. If you bring them up friendly they are gentle but if another dog pisses them off then it's on I just like their mentality I don't think it makes me tough by any means.
