you can sure tell that you've spent some time with the california armbenders by how pathetically disabled you feel when you try to get out of bed and be productive the following day. uuuggghhh. awesome time, fo sho!

as an avid comic book geek, and a holder of large quantities of both of those characters (even though i prefer marvel over dc comics), batman wouldn't have a prayer against the man of steel. if they were locked up, chances are they have been searched and cleared of all weopons in their posession. batman is 100% human and relies on gadgets and gymnastics to get through. superman, on the other hand - can shoot friggin' lasers out of his eyes, freeze you with his breath, he can fly, and lets not forget he's strong enough to stop a meteor falling from space. batman wouldn't even be able to pierce supermans skin, even if he found a weapon in the cell. superman has this fight, easy!

i love all different kinds of dogs, and have probably had damn near every breed you can think of. but in my experiences, pit bulls have become my favorite. despite the bad press, most people who've owned them would agree, i'm sure. i spent a few years breeding them, but realized that the time and effort was far too consuming. so now i have my two troopers watching over my family and i. the dog on the left is my 6 year old female - "miss beef" , and the muscle head to her right is my right hand partner - "sav" , who just turned 5. he was also the stud for all the litters we produced. he is UKC registered "Razors Edge" bloodline. a while back i posted a thread about an upcoming episode of cartoon networks "regular show" titled "over the top." well, the complete episode is finally available online without any commercial interuptions. i swear - i don't care how old you are, it'll be the best 11minutes of your day. and if you have kids, they'll love it, too. and you'll want to buy a "PlayCo ArmBoy" when it's over, gauranteed! enjoy...

I was umping my oldest boys minor league game on Mon. when something confused me. The pitcher had thrown a ball inside. The batter tried to avoid it, but was unsuccesful. The ball hit the batter in the hand and nicked the butt of the bat. The batter made no forward motion to swing, just jumped back to avoid the pitch. Is this a foul ball or a hit batter? so just out of curiosity - did you end up making the right call?

If the ball made contact with the batter before the bat, it should be a walk. But you might want a second opinion. I'm sure rules have changed since I was a kid.

i was wondering how that is supposed to work. if somebody challenges me to a match, and then expects me to pay for a round trip flight out of my own pocket to the complete opposite side of the United States - am i more of a fool for actually paying to entertain another mans grudge, or more of a fool for even considering it. the way i see it, the competitor laying down the challenge should bring it to the challenged - no questions asked. it makes no sense for tom to waste money over a match that doesn't even pay or offer a title. i believe tom is undefeated against joe, so maybe joe should fly out to california if he feels he has something to prove. other than that, this is just a pipe dream. nelson is a multi-time national champ, and has ran through the best of the best. everyone from brzenk, to bath, to bresnan, to michael todd, and everyone in between. there are less than a fraction of one percent of armwrestlers in the world that can make that claim. if this match were to ever happen, it only makes sense to bring it here. i'm not trying to cheerlead for tom, but this is silly. rational adult thinking says it's silly. i could see if there was a promotor willing to sponsor all costs related to the match. but other than that - it's just kind of sounds like another mans hurt pride fueling this thread. i mean no disrespect to anybody - i just though i'd throw some "sense" into this.
