Might I suggest a "novice" class? In my 6 month career, I have yet to see a tournament in California with a novice class. It's always amateur, open, or both. I know it costs more to have more classes, but think of how many more newbys would be enticed to enter if there was a class for them (which also makes more $ from entry fees). I know I was hesitant about entering amateur my first tournament a month and a half ago. And I was definately out of my league. Either way, you don't have to "pay out" for novice winners. Just a simple paper certificate that the winners can frame. Just a thought. Good luck!

Adoption absolutely. We are all tainted with those genes. We all have the potential to be the worst of creatures. We shouldn't kill someone because they are an innocent result of guilty actions. Excellent point.

I'm with you guys. And I also hate the term "pro choice." Really? Its just the liberals playing word games so that they can actually feel empowered by their "choice" to murder their child. But, I've always been on the fence when it comes to pregnancy that results from a forceful rape. A life is still a life, but when it's hatefully placed inside you against your will, I think of it differently. I wouldn't want a woman in my life (girlfriend, sister, mother, etc) keeping a child in those circumstances. That baby is tainted with the same predatory genes. Maybe adoption, but I'm still not sure.

I took some videos at the tournament in Patterson this weekend, as well as some afterpulling at Mcgraws in Turlock. Please forgive the angles. I tried my best without getting in the way of the crowds view, and without being able to film on the stage. And not all matches were filmed. You'll get the idea, though. Enjoy! www.youtube.com/user/Fitzee3?feature=mhee

I just wanted to say thanks to the team. This Saturday was by far the most AWESOME experience I've had since I started armwrestling late last December. Practice with the CA Armbenders changed the way I look at pulling. Every member there went out of their way and took the time to make sure I was thoroughly broken by the end of the night. Randy Weaver, Kenny Hughes, Tom Nelson, Mike McGraw, Michael Vaz, Kelly Nelson, Mac Telle, Dane Nix and Darryl (The Iron Paw) Nix, as well as a few guys from Team True Grit, were all in the mix. Hell, even the great Tim Lewis was there! Not only are the Armbenders comprised of some of the greatest pullers in the country (undeniably and without question), but not once did I feel out of place. They made me feel at home, cooked some AWESOME GRUB, and gave me more lessons on the table than I could have ever asked for. It was like a personalized training session with some of my favorite armwrestlers, and I could not have imagined a better evening. To everyone that was there, and everyone that kicked my ass, thank you! (sorry if I missed anybodys name - you were all great people!)

I'll be driving down to the 41st Annual Apricot Fiesta Armwrestling Championships in Patterson, CA this Saturday, June 4th. I will be leaving from Sacramento between 9 and 9:30 am. There are 3 open seats available for any pullers that are competing that weekend. Even if Sacramento is on your way to the tourney, and you want to drop your car at my house and share a carpool the rest of the way (1.5 hours), hit me up. Gas prices are ugly, and i get good mileage, so...

;D Tonights new episode of Cartoon Networks "Regular Show" is titled "Over the Top". Skips must armwrestle Death to save his friend Rigby whom he accidentally killed. If Skips wins, Rigby can come back. And yes, I still watch cartoons. Having two sons helps with the "cover-up" though!
