Just curious Jeff, what kind of large numbers are you thinking is appropriate? How many active female pullers do you think there are in the US? I have consistently had large ladies classes here locally but I would say we have at least 20 active pullers that are competive at the pro level in the southeast. Out of those 20, 8-10 have the means to travel and the ability/dedication to be at the top. Shouldn't be any reason why there couldn't be 50 entries just from the ladies classes.

Robert thank you so much for doing this for us women. Now it's up to us women to step up to the plate and sign up to compete. Exactly right! I'm a huge fan of the ladies class but if they don't show in large numbers for this event, it shouldn't ever be offered again.

Thanks to everyone. I e emailed frank and he's very responsive. Looks like I'll probably get one of his soon hopefully. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk If you want the best table out there then you need a stbcustoms they are by far the best table in the USA. If you want a cheap table with high school quality then frank hirst is the man to go to but if you want the best then you need to talk to Scott mathews! You get what you pay for! That's a lame thing to say.

I gotta say and I know its hard cause people dont wear a tag that says hey I'm pro, but the TopRoll tournament last month, The Novice (classes)were heavily stacked with pro's. Not judging just saying >>>>Comon Mannnn<<<< If your pro, pull pro, dont be super tough guy and whoopass on the novices. For novice when we run amateur too: Novice: First timers, never won any event, Amateur: No more than two amateur wins with more than four in the class, no placing at nationals, never beating a known pro, not placing first in opens with 4 or more in the class. Pro: Anyone can enter including those disqualified from the other two classes.

Nice classes Trapper. Glad to see someone else doing novice/amateur/pro at one tournament. How are you defining the novice class?

$2000 for men and $500 for the women ? That Dont seem fair Robin, didn't you just got to a tournament where first place for mens was $2000 and women's was $400? It's what it is. Robert or anyone isn't going to offer $2000 to the ladies class if the turnout is going to be just a few ladies....you would need extraordinary outcomes for a higher payout IMO.

We are trying to create a true amateur class. When we run novice, amateur, and pro, I classify them as the following:
Novice: not winning a competition of any kind, first time puller.
Amateur: Not winning more than 3 amateur classes with either hand. Not beating a known pro (competitive in the pro class) Not placing 1st in a pro class with more than 3 competitors.
pro: Have the strength, skill, and ability to be competitive with the best in class and no longer competitive in the amateur class.

Rankings updated. John Wilson was 230 when he pulled Chris was within 10lbs of John in the +225lbs class at souls. John over Chris, then Chris over John 2x in the finals in wars. Great job.
