Anyone want a $ challenge match with me at this event? 176 is prolly the class I'm pulling but I'd prolly be ok with most people weighing under 190.

Understand Tim; We can pull next weekend on the 9th in Maryland at the WAL event if you can make it. or sometime later in the year. My left Feels great currently, my right is a little tweaked from some of the events I had in IL, TN and NC. Normally I wouldn't care but being the magntiude of the event in Vegas. I need to make sure im 100% healed and that means not pulling anynore with it till then. If you want to pull me left handed only for $100 best of 5, I would be down. But Im not going to pull right handed at all or sign up for the tourney Bc I already qualified. My weight will be about 188-190 next weekend. Let me know if interested.

Nate, the event is not cancelled. This is a great event every year. It used to be in Hartford. The event you got a notification about was probably a "wristwrestling nationals" which is (well I won't even comment on that but the event had no chance leave it at that).
As far as hotels, the boardwalk is pretty dumpy. Borgata is nice but you will pay $$.
If you are looking for value and don't mind the place not being real nice there are several regular hotels on either Blackhorse Pike or WhiteHorse Pike 5 miles or less from the venue in a reasonable price range. 50-80 dollars a night. Look on hotwire you can do very good. But again expect a bed and a shower don't expect anything nice.
If you want to stay prime location and all that, you will pay more than I would ever pay for a hotel anyway. But it all depends on what you want. Me personally Blackhorse Pike or Whitehorse Pike is fine for WAL Atlantic City I got a room on hotwire 5 miles from the venue for $125 dollars after taxes for all 3 nights and I was fine with that.

Friendly Best of five right and left Kessler vs Lewis Any weight 1 minute rest between matches. $100 first arm your choice Right or Left $200 second arm Let me know Tim Thanks, Gary Gary, I would take you up on your offer later this summer or in the fall at a different tournament. This event is one week before WAL Vegas so I won't even be pulling at all at this event. I am simply promoting this event and trying to bring armwrestling back to Pittsburgh. This event is held in conjunction with a Memorial Day weekend expo so I have zero control over the date.

Why is this event the same date (and close) to the WAL championship? Who is planning on going to this.? You would think even the nonqualfied pullers would want to be in New Orleans.

Look, regardless of what we think of this person's decision to change gender, the bottom line is the person did. We can debate whether it was arm wrestling driven or not, but guess what that is a personal choice.
It takes a lot of courage to come on a public forum to a bunch of dudes and openly admit what was just admitted here. You can agree, disagree, think whatever you want.
The point is, now their are no more rumors but facts.
You can clearly and blunty oppose of the decision, but you at least have to respect the person for coming on here and coming out with the truth.
At least be grown ups about it.

Where is this info coming from the Mike could be pulling?? The WAL made an official announcement that the top 8 (and only the top 8) as well as people that attended all 4 qualifers as orignally stated could pull.
They also said they aren't exercising their option to consider at large invitations.

54 Brad Spine won R and L very easy I think 6 guys in right handed class, less left. 76 R (12 entries) Kessler 1st, Brandon Simpson 2nd, Tim Lewis 3rd 76 L (5 entries) Bill Ballinger 1st, Tim Lewis 2nd, Josh Koenig 3rd 98 L (11 entries) Ryan Burnett 1st, Scott Ballinger 2nd, Mike Dawson 3rd, Tim Lewis 4th 98 R (22 entries) Ryan Burnett 1st, Scott Ballinger 2nd, they let 6 qualify from this class since it was so large
Lupkes had an easy day in supers right.
204 total entries.
This is what I remember. I think I know a few more but not positive so only posting what I'm positive about.
