Alright...my Armwrestling friends...if your interested in other Martial-Arts and i am pretty sure some of you really are or have a background there, then you should better not miss the episodes of Ameri-Do-Te with master Ken. ;D ;D All others that are skeptical about it...just watch (1 episode) this and have fun a little if you don´t mind...i was laughing so hard that i have just to share this with you.. ;D Should it be that you want to do the "hurticane" style by yourself after understanding the techniques...then please don´t forget to make a clip of it and post it for all. ;D..i would do it but "hurticane" is just to difficult right now for me... have fun.... Enter The Dojo, Episode 1: Welcome To The Dojo Enter The Dojo, Episode 2: Destroy The Groin Enter The Dojo, Episode 3: Rape Class (Part 1) Enter The Dojo, Episode 4: Rape Class (Part 2) Enter The Dojo, Episode 5: Kill Face Enter The Dojo, Episode 6: "Into The Darkness" Enter The Dojo, Episode 7: "Dance Of Death" Enter The Dojo, Episode 8: "Attack The Heart" Enter The Dojo, Episode 9: "The Hurticane"

Hi AK,I think your post is awesome, and u are in the right track there....I think everything is about motivation, good genetics is a big play in the game, however a outstandind dedication could make a great champion, the example of the eight wild horses, its a challenge for the beginners, and how they will take this challenge will answer them how succesfull they could be,having a good genes or just a goal with determination....Marcio Barboza Very good!!!There are many ways to teach how to become an armwrestler (champion),and I think this is a very interesting way to motivate ur guys,I'll keep reading the chapters, this first one was awesome, keep it up AK..... Thank you very much Marcio, its a real honor to read this from a World Champion. I am very glad that you liked what you read above and that you are not hesitating to give me your views about all very straight. Real Champions do that. I remember John Brzenk always answering me about any question i had very friendly in detail, when he was on the board.(he was very open about it all) Hope he decides to come back again one day. Devon Larratt is going down the same Champions road. When he was here in Berlin, he left so many Aw.s here with a maximum motivation just the way he acts as a Nr.1 down to earth Armwrestler that he is and No matter where he is going, all others will see & experience the same...100% sure. There are a lot of other Champions here on the Board with fantastic attitude also. We all learn from each other. And this kind of behavior Marcio..can motivate a lot too. and is a win for all. looking forward to see you again....stay healthy.

Thank you for the update Tiberiu..
A1 gonna be an outstanding Event with all of them and all others in it.
The level on the top is getting higher & higher each day and the weight differences are still important but not that important right after 1 or 2 wars of the heavier as we can see here again..
No walking in the Park or extreme domination for No 1 anymore... ;D.

Alright Aw-friends, ...let´s go into the story of the "8 wild horses" Here they are all together for a quick overview: 1-"training-quality" 2-"training-frequency" 3-"technique-quality" 4-"game-experience" 5-"post/pre-game-nutrition" 6-"post/pre-game-recovery" 7-"Energy/Power release abilities"(also known as "strong will") 8-"life/sport Balance" ^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^** Today i want to introduce to you our first of the 8 wild horses: (some of you that has already meet her can probably share with us your view about this wild but beautiful horse and how you learned to come along with her) 1- "training-quality" nickname: "essential" the 3 main distinctive features: -efficient -joyfully -reproducible************************************************* Once i learned that you can spend hours & hours doing something and you will probably getting good at doing it but to get outstanding in what you are doing you need to do it as right & as good as possible every single time....that's what makes a different in any field and in any sport. Now... to do it as right & as good as possible, you have to know what you are doing and how to do it right. To work this out as an athlete or with Athletes, you better keep things simple & as logical as possible. The main questions (one of the biggest tasks) here for every single ambitious AW-Beginner & some Amateurs also is/will be: How to know right from wrong ?? (when it comes to training-quality) and how to adapt it correctly into their daily lifes ??Well...here i always like to suggest to take a look at the 3 main distinctive features of our wild horse "essential" and keep it as simple as possible at that point.
That means: When ever you have the feeling that your training is -efficient (you see results..no matter what you define for yourself as results) -joyfully (you really enjoy the way you doing it with regard of the mentioned efficiency) -reproducible (you really understand what you doing or what is taught to you) or with other words.. when ever you can make a check mark behind all of those features during & after your trainings, then "essential" is with you. If not, then you have to act....to ask...to travel...to search...to change...again & again until "essential" is with you. Very important side-note to not loose "essential" unnecessarily again: listen to your feelings/body & mind and the feelings/words of your training-group about what you are doing during your trainings & afterwards also.^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^**^** Finally i think that Armwrestlers of today are blessed with a lot opportunities to bring real training-quality in to their sport-life to be successful. Because the competition is/will be getting tougher & tougher each day this kind of professional & profound understanding is inescapable for the success of every Aw-Athlete. No matter Young or matured Athletes... it has to be fun & understandable. I hope you enjoyed this part of the story about the "8 wild horses" and you could find something useful for yourself or your Athletes in it. i hope to be able to bring the next chapter soon to you.... thank you all again. A.K

I was not quite 20 years old when I got serious. The best way to get me fired up is to tell me I can't! That word was forbidden in my dads house when I was growing up, he didn't take excuses. I had onther friend who was a pro start training me after Denny told me I would be no good. At the next tournament I drew Denny first round and flashed him. Dennis Anderson was one of the top pullers of his day a 150 man who could walk into most tournaments and win every weight class. I never beat Denny again before I moved away but I was hooked! That was 37 years ago. Thank you very much for sharing this great Armwrestling story...really cool inside of how you began...thank you!. i will come back with the "8 wild horses" in short....

Elvis' music teacher in school failed him from music class, claiming that Elvis had no musical talent. This could be...i don´t know and never heard about this but i am not doubting it that somewhere on his road someone (or a lot of people doubt on him because they where looking for some so called pre-defined talents or scoring results the way they understood it...this is more then common everyday) But what i know cause i read a lot about him during the years and really like his music (probably an another common ground between us)...was that he started singing very young for those days(from the age of 8)....and got his first guitar at the age of 11... here for further info about the king of R & R of all time: www.elvispresleymusic.com.au/elvis_presley_1935_1953.htmlwww.elvispresleynews.com/ElvisSchoolDays.htmlwww.notablebiographies.com/Pe-Pu/Presley-Elvis.htmlWhat then happens and what he become later is unique & fantastic but it fits more into the mentioned theory of ---> work/practice/fun.....again....&.....again I think that we agree that his work maked him finally a legend not his seen or not seen talent. (probably something like 80-90 % to 10-20 % talent...if at all) Btw: look at this picture.... Both...Elvis & James are looking very concentrated & determined but Elvis got the better grip there.. ;D (maybe James want to dive inside or got a special open-hand move...just don´t know). And Marilyn...well she is not even looking at their hands..forget the Elbows... ;D ;D.

Getting ahead in a difficult profession requires avid faith in yourself. That is why some people with mediocre talent, but with great inner drive, go much further than people with vastly superior talent. - Sophia Loren Those who are blessed with the most talent don't necessarily outperform everyone else. It's the people with follow-through who excel - Mary K. Ash I know quite certainly that I myself have no special talent; curiosity, obsession and dogged endurance, combined with self-criticism, have brought me to my ideas. - Albert Einstein A man may and ought to pride himself more on his will than on his talent - Honore De Balza Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work. - John Wooden Hard work without talent is a shame, but talent without hard work is a tragedy. - Robert Half John...you already know that i like good "quotes" and those above are really good...thank you very much for this contribution...it fits perfect to this thread...great.

Vazgen Soghoyan: our last post must have been overlapped or you can really answer fast. ...thank you very much for the kind words...I would prefer pay pal like Mr.Espey...but hey if a check to that Address is preferred then i am cool with it also..Alright... Vazgen... i understand your frustration and believe it or not i am pretty sure all others here can feel it too....please just keep cool...you do the right thing..ty again for your effort. We all need more effective support and simple assertions instead of misunderstandings & circular directions....The Armwrestling-Community is working good together each day (but its not ideal) and we should learn from mistakes and listen carefully to the main problems & each other...so please keep your patient even so your heart beats for this for real as i can read in your posts. You are representing armwrestling very good so far...ty again.

I actually started pulling because a friend of mine told me I would never be any good at it because I was left handed and they only had right handed pulling Now that's interesting..how old have you been then when you decided to go for it for real ??. As we all know, there are different form of motivation ;D but it has to be a lot of fun being underestimated like that and coming back as a Winner...wow...i like this kind of story..
