Good evening, In 2010 i was so glad to combine both "(stay)..DON´T MOVE...GO" and the "EVEN REFEREES GRIP"for the first time here in Germany if not Worldwide in our Berlin City Championship after working it out with some friends here on this thread---> northeastboard.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=19317&page=1 (check out the last pages also) It has a huge positive impact over here. The Athletes favored it a lot. And all i was focused on those days beside of my own limited sport development , was to help evolving this sport & the interest of true Athletes, the way i learned & defined Athletism and fairplay for myself. In same year the simple idea (only Don´t move´go) was declined @ waf world. And i know til today 100% that most of those guys with the opportunity of voting for it, not even understood 50% of what it was about. And how to perform it correctly without to much irritating their established system of ref teaching & so on. If you are interested, read the thread & take if there is something good in it for you & this subject. Good bye...take care.

Bob is such a fantastic Human in so many ways!.
I have deep respect for him and i told him that as i met him in 2010 and i will tell him this again, should i be fortunate enough to meet him somewhere again in life. Will never forget the way he talked to me and how open minded he was.
life taught me to always honor those, who really deserve it without any borderline in the head.
Real strong man and his comeback in life is known for good beyond US border.
thanks a lot for sharing this Gary und ofcourse Bob & Tracy.

Hi everybody, well.... i searched the present worldwide accessible library ;D long time ago and still do from time to time. As it comes to a written allround information for armwrestling in a "handbook" size that is the subject in this thread...i could not find many things so far that fulfill the whole spectrum that you are asking for above las B. . What we have so far in English beside of all the armbender magazines from the past is: Ernie Jeffrey's (" a competitive armwrestler and later a long-time referee") old school Armwrestling Book. you can find more info here: www.functionalhandstrength.com/oldschool_armwrestling.htmlsome other works are in preparation...slow but in progress as we gladly can read and hear so far. so a lot of pages are not written or not well-regulated to present it as a book. I am actually working on such a book, focusing on the training and preparation more so than the historical elements. That's GREAT James I place my order right now! btw. I read that Igor is also planning a book. Things are coming along for AW. Agree...sounds strong and i am interested to read the finished work of James R. for sure. BTW: here is a link with some information about the book from Igor M. that i saw last year en.armpower.net/article/en/a-must-for-every-armwrestler-2033.html. sounds very good too and will be useful for sure. @las: i would not call that "desired" Book or any other so called sport-related Book, a "Bible" for many reasons even so i got your good point/intention here clearly my new Aw-friend. But i would very probably read it if you or someone else name it that way. @all: --- all in all its true that there is a need existing for a long time now, that will hopefully & without much doubt be satisfied during the next years for all in & around the Armwrestling-circuit --- One last thing.. ;D for Aw-Athlets it better needs a really good binding quality. ;D A lot of constructive posts lately....i enjoy all your good contributions guys a lot...keep up the positive drive everybody and have a good time. thanks. A.K

My point is that armwrestlers have the capacity to mold this sport into what they want if they can get past their differences, take control of the sport's image and be ambassadors. Very powerful sentence..i like it a lot...easy to understand...easy to say...much harder to implement and follow. Amongst other things because everyone has to start first with the man in the mirror and second with his shadow. I wish you good luck and success with your intentions overall James R. The idea to support the Korean Aws is very good too. thanks for this positive contribution. stay healthy & creative everybody. (at least as long as its possible..right!?!) have a nice day... -

Congrats! I do not reply much on the board but I do read the threads consistently. Bob constantly contributes value on this board and to U.S. Armwrestling as a whole...You are a great representative of this sport and U.S. Armwrestling and have earned that Title through dedication, commitment and desire! Someone to look up to! Well Done! #---> very good input...in fact very happy News. hope to see and chat with him someday...somewhere again. so... big congratulation from "just" some miles away too. I remember not long ago how happy he was about his first pull-up after surgery and now...this. Great job of a fantastic armwrestling Ambassador day in day out. thanks and have a good time with armwrestling everybody.

Just wanna say something about doping... ive been robbed during 10 years at WAF and EAF by persons getting some juice, so if somebody wanna be "on" in a not controlled tournament, i could agree but when some people are cheating in a so called " no drugs tournament" its another story, i pay every year my plane ticket hotel and as well hard training to finally be stolen, this is just my 2 cents, but anyway.... Beautiful & deep words in a beautiful but stolen world that we call a free world of opportunities. thanks pascal...you are a Champion!. but some kind of in danger of extinction. Some will tell you that they still have to train hard as their point, to act as if it matters in any context..but it don´t matters at all...never had...never will if one really think honestly about it...maybe to those who not even understand the meaning of the word..."hard" (the whole spectrum behind it) or have their own explanation about it. Some will tell you it is the next level, which is a bigger joke in itself, which no 1 can honestly even discuss about....level?...level of what? A definition of honor is lost somewhere...
A definition of an Athlete is sold...
A definition of a fist fight is sponsored by a knife...
What a big disgusting multi-billion masquerade in fact. Champions !?!...Pain!?!...hmmm. People want to know which is the newest/badest drug?? can not answer that but hush hush baby surely is an old good working drug...little tones but very effective to every child!. People talking about being kind & respectful to each other. But the definition of those words changes often for them on a daily basis with their weekly goals. The human nature/psyche is build to adapt to life-circumstances. This fact is sometimes a blessing for us and sometimes a cancer!.
This you will find behind a lot of groundless & helpless discussions. Nowadays... a lot of modern heroes are in fact zeros...but other zeros are the fans of those heroes caused by their own life-circumstances & so called modern society. Its sad but true. At the end everything matters if you matter to yourself. look in the mirror pascal and be proud of yourself. There are still a lot of people out there that look up to you. For those, who gonna hate me or misunderstanding me for breaking this lance: Catch this before throwing any stones: i will not be mad at you at all and i am neither shooting the old Sheriff nor the Deputy...cause in my reality both of them are not really the reason for our really weak circumstances..but we are!. Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts Pascal Girard!.I am appreciate it. Have a nice day everybody and good bye.

;D Tero ;D, You don´t dance so you can not perform the "hurticane" ?? ;D ;D ;D and hey you have not seeing my "Kill-face" til now at all...just forget it... ;D First i really thought that you are joking (you put jk in your first post and i was laughing a lot about it) and the whole thread is a fun and joke thread as you can see..Somehow i still try to assume ;D you are joking and your 2.post is very funny in a lot of points too even so i don´t understand your intentions on this thread now because of Point 4 and your ending "quotes". (the way it seems to bother you and the way you coming across.) Just for the case you took it to serious or had to much hits in the groin ;D: and got unfortunately a little amnesia as you said is possible before.. ;D The whole BS thing is from those videos as you know but when i wrote the things about Armwrestling probably not being BS in master Kens listings..then of course i was just joking there again..Its a No brainer...you first sounds like you knew it...But you want to say that it was BS not as a joke but seriously now??(why you start with that joke again..if it was a joke)..O.K so be it. ;D . You say you are joking but when i look at the end of your post it looks like somehow you don´t (not sure about your intentions there)...anyway BS or not..this is/was about Ameri-Do-Te in & for fun....and if you could not find any smileys thats probably because i used them all before for fun ....wait....BS...here i find 1 another.. ;D What have all of kyle Fitzpatricks quotes from other thread to do with this thread is the breaking-point here?? (it is weird) I don´t need to take a pick there (take a pick for what?? are you drunk Tero?? ) Now you choosed one for yourself for what??. ;D..its very interesting how this thread bring you to post this kind of things. ;D Please Tero you want to say i am a Troll now too ;D or you are a Troll ;D or who is a Troll here ?? ;D ;D Look how those texts "quotes" are written...its like a horoscope...you can put each and everyone with enough fantasy in one of those spots. So everyone is a Troll now?? ;D ;D o.k what then?? I am pretty sure you have a spot for me very quickly also cause "you have read some psychology". ;D But thanks i am not interested in that game of being a Troll. ;D If someone at all is trolling here on this thread in that context..that is you not me and you are admitting even with your own post now ...how it comes that you want to be The Psychopathological Troll now?? ;D ;D ;D.and you want to be it or make your coming out on this thread---Ameri-Do-Te is not responsible for that for sure ;D Just forget about Armwrestling being in elementary school...BS or not. This thread is not about Armwrestling first hand...look its off-topic as you can see...and its not about Trolls also.. ;D ;D ;D...actually notHere some more of Master Kens wisdom. ;D have a nice day too.

I enjoy this story, and me being younger (16) is actually a very good advantage for me to learn the correct technique early and perfect it. I do understand that it takes hard work and dedication to become more successful, and i do believe that i dedicate myself, as I am seeing very good results and gains. The story is very good, especially for amateurs and younger pullers like myself. Thank you very much Chase. This is a very good feedback from you as a younger Athlete.I appreciate it a lot as you can imagine. It shows me as a writer/coach that the story carry-over is working good for every generation of Athletes.Very happy about it. With the way of thinking that you have already you definitely will be successful (No matter what you define success for yourself)...you have a exemplary mind-set for a 16 years old Armwrestler...your family/friends have to be very proud of yourself. I think the whole Armwrestling-Board can be proud of yourself with this kind of brave and objective way that you represent here as a young guy. You are stating your view & points in a very sharp & accurate way...awesome. Be patient & observant, then you can use your advantage of being young & smart to the maximum. stay healthy my younger Aw-friend.. A.K

BTW:....attention what master Ken says here...he gives some kind of not direct credit to Armwrestling by not mentioning it. he thinks those are all Bs but not Armwrestling. That's some direct bs right there, why don't you just write a letter and ask him instead of making your own interpretation? Give the master some credit he forgot to mention it. He has amnesia from all those years of hard training and multiple groin hits jk ;D ....BS...Multiple Groin hits causes Amnesia!?!...Fantastic BS ;D ;D listen Tero... ;D (i am dying laughing right now) One: i give him credit by show his awesome work here to all that might/did not knew/hear about Ameri-do-te so far and he or his script holder in the Background ;D would never forget Armwrestling if it was BS but its clearly not mentioned. ;D and Two:I wrote above that i have no "hurticane" cause its to difficult for me but i do have a very known "Kill face"..don´t force me to show it to you to..Believe me you really don´t want it. ;D Btw: I think you could do a good "hurticane".. ;D So give the master some credit Tero and don´t chat about his past.People could report it ;D to him and you don´t want that too.. ;D Here the Wisdoms about the Belt-System: ;D ;D

So i had a random idea today. What if we all settled on one day of the year where everyone does SOMETHING to raise the awareness of this sport. If that means you tell one person at the gym or the supermarket about AW then so be it or if it means you host a tournament then that goes too. I feel that if we are all so serious about this sport we can atleast do ONE thing a year to help it grow. I just thought that maybe if we labeled a day for it then it would get people more motivated to get out there and promote our sport a bit more. Maybe an Arm Wrestling Awareness Month? If we got to the point where EVERY puller knows that they need to do something on November 22nd (for example) then maybe they will get that extra motivation they need to potentially bring one person in the sport. I would love to hear what you guys have to say or think about this idea. If this idea has already been proposed then i am sorry. I think it would be neat to see a thread titled 'International Arm Wrestling Day Today: What did you do?' where everyone shares what they did for our sport today. I am kinda interested in why some people will think this wont help/work. Thanks for checking this out guys. Just wanna help blow this thing up! ;D Hello Derek, For me it sounds very positive and i like your idea a lot. You wrote that it "could promote our sport a bit more"...well it definitely would once Athletes/Promoters take it as an addition as it should be to the things that all Aw.s & Promoters and so on already do.Its very cool and i see nothing wrong (some might have miss-understand your intentions or expression...don´t know) with it to have a special day called: "International Day of Armwrestling". ..sounds great.I see a lot of extra chance & opportunity in it. anyway...very nice your dedication & fresh-ideas Derek. @all AW-friends: I think in general that it would be easier for all and for Armwrestling-development to not compare each & every thread with what i or you or he or she already do/done or not done...that way we would draw more effective ideas for everyone in the sport instead of probably discouraging each other in the end as a result of most conversation in this "Comparing" form does. The outcome of this idea could be great if you/we could then use it officially to go to schools and talk about Armwrestling to kids and young athletes with some kind of added fun remembering them that "Today is the international day of Armwrestling" ....some of them would laugh (and that would be very good ) but it would still draw additional good attention for Armwrestling...just a quick example... there are many more things what we can do with it...Great idea. Btw guys: Did you know that there is also nowadays an "International day of awesomeness" ;D dayofawesomeness.com/ on the birthday of Chuck Norris. So why not having an "International day of Armwrestling" on a birthday of an "Armwrestling Legend" or "First-Promoters" or "you say something...." to give additional credit to a person from the Armwrestling-world to the world also? 1-Which day should it be ?? 2-How you want to work it out to make it official??... 3-Maybe a Homepage?? (any ideas Derek or others??)..this could work good if done properly. thank you everybody...keep up the good work. A.K
