Why are we as pullers (Bill Collins calls it having balls! WOW THAT IS AMAZING!) Accepting this type of behavior on a board read by thousands of not only pullers but possible sponsors and future promoters. What I mean by this is a puller (Travis) saying on a public forum that he would douse fire on "Any" person! I don't care if is Karen or Osama for us to accept it would be to condone it. This started with a post (By myself) about the F'ing Olympics! It then turns into a personal vendetta against Karen who at least in the public eye out of respect for herself and us takes the high road.
Again watching the Olympics I saw a Gymnast from Russia who got totally robbed in the scoring! The crowd went crazy! All the while the gymnast was the perfect picture of calmness and respect even asking the crowd to quiet down out of respect for his fellow competitors. He knew his Gold medal dream was over because of an incompetent judge but he was representing more than himself. He was representing the sport and his country. Now put Travis in that situation (Or any of a dozen pullers I know.)
Travis respect yourself! It doesn’t take balls to go off on someone you dislike, it takes ignorance and I for one don’t want to be represented that way.

Maybe the reason everyone is not MAD is because they feel the same way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe they wish they could speak out to, infact I have had numerous phone calls saying just that....
This not a new thing, she has cast a huge cloud over this sport for to long and now is the time for her to go....
I think that most feel the same way........
I'm not sure what type of BUSINESS your in, but I bet I would have a hard time moving in your town and being able to compete with you in a short time like the USA nationals have done unless you were "like AAA" doing somwething wrong...............
She BAD for the SPORT, maybe I am to, but she has proven herself way to clearly....
Ask RJ, Cobra, Silvers, Brzenk, Redden, Sinks, Patton, or most of the FUC***g free WORLD....

Travis, Who am I? I don't think there is enough room on this board to fully explain the complexities that define myself!  Please don't compare my accomplishments in the sport to my passion for it or to it's participants. Given my health status and the fact that most days I train I am risking serious consequence I have accomplished more than most people ever could. Show me any athlete with an artificial valve in their heart that has won a State Title at any sport and I will agree. I don't think there is anything wrong you having a problem with Karen or for that matter having a problem with anyone. I just don't like the method of distribution of your message. Follow John B's example and for the sake of us and the sport conduct yourself..at least in public in a more controled manner. The silence on this board shows that you have accomplished more than just a world title. You have gotten to the point where people simply place their heads up your butt in hopes of acceptance. I think that if you check your e-mail you might find more pullers are in agreement with me in that we don't have a problem with your feelings just your representation of them. |

When I said who are you, I was refering to number of years you have been around!!!!!!!!!!
The AAA welcomes the weekend warrior, its the person who tries to take it to another level that needs to watch there BACK............
I have simply stated the obvious, I have been though conversations with her and know the TRUTH....
I will not respond anymore, someone had to step up, and now others can speak freely.......

Travis,
I started pulling and won my first tournament in 1986. It was in Chehalis Wa. at the Washington State Opens at the Chehalis mall. Back then it was the WCAA (West Coast Armwrestling Assoc.) I pulled extensively on the West Coast until 1992. I have pulled in Redding Ca and Petaluma.
If you were coming across on this board against Denise or Leonard I would say the same and have in the past on the AAA board.
If you notice I don't defend Karen in the post because I don't know any facts as to your problem with her. I attack the method and manner in which you as a puller in a public forum address the issue.
My point about people kissing butt is proven by going to the AAA board. When they can post without identity they attack you. I am simply the only one who is willing to take on the problem of our public image (Not Karen's) here and without hiding. I don't know if you have ever called Karen with your problem or even what the problem is and It is really none of my affair. I would assume that you will not be pulling in any AAA tournaments which would be standing up for what you believe in and I applaud you for your conviction.
Once again I have a problem with the world reading our dirty laundry...that is all.

Hey Travis, you just keep saying whatever you want about whoever you want. It's still a free world and you are still allowed to speak your mind whenever and wherever you want. If you feel the way you do about Karen Bean or the A A A or the sport of armwrestling for that matter, speak your mind.
It's not your problem if someone has a different opinion, thats just their opinion, everyone has one as do you. I for one don't have my head stuck up your ass either, I can just respect the fact that you speak what is on your mind. I had respected you for that even before I met you in Indiana. And now that I have met you and have talked to you numerous times on the phone, I understand you, and your A-OK in my book!!!!
So, burn away my friend, I'll give you the matches!!!!

One moret thing...I never said Travis was not "A-OK". I think alot of his tactics are great for the sport. I however have the benefit of a cell phone and have fielded phone calls all day in agreement of the post I put up. This is the reason for the post about "butt kissing." I don't know if it is a lack of as Bill Collins put "Balls" or simply a fear of standing up for what is right but there are a ton of pullers for my stand as I am sure there are for Travis. My post was more to maybe get him to look at things in a different light than to get him to give up his constitutional rights. Pete if you need a hug you can call me too |

Everybody has there opionion, but for people to issue insults are childish and not required and I think both Karen and Kurt should start kicking people off their boards for thier behavior. I will give my work# for anyone who has something to talk to me it is 229-995-5658 from 9-6eastern everyday but wensday and sunday. I having nothing against leonard or any other federation but instead of always insulting AAA just dont pull it. I will also add no I'm no champion armwrestler nor am I a champion Bass fisherman but I both pull and fish because I enjoy them.

Good point Todd. It shouldn't matter how long or who you have beaten, It should just matter that you pull. For the record when I started most of these guys were in grammar school However just for the heck of it I will put a few victories I hold. Chris, balls is a form of speech, you know kind of like balls no brains, brains no balls, amazing isn’t it.
Travis is a talker, he knows it, and we know it. He say’s what he has to say. Most people talk crap behind backs, he puts it up front. Rather right or wrong as mention everybody has there opinion, and knowing Travis he won’t hold back. . You play with the Devil you might get burned

You seem to imply that I have insulted Frank and Karen on this board. "I having nothing against leonard or any other federation but instead of always insulting AAA just dont pull it." This is what I am talking about. Even if Frank and Karen and myself are having problems does not mean that I am insulting the entire organization of AAA. I also do not remember insulting Frank or Karen on this board maybe you can refresh my memory.

I don't think he meant that you were dogging Karen or the AAA. I think he called you a federation ;D. I am posting a reply because I stated "Good point" to him and I did not mean to infer that you were insulting them either.
