One requirement of this board is that your name must be displayed. I prefer first and last name to be shown. Some of you have just your last name showing, and that is fine for now. Some day I will take the time to go through all 176+ members and change all of them to first AND last name.
Nicknames and initials are not acceptable. For example: 'corpse' and 'FB' don't work for me. Nothing personal.

Good call Kurt... if someone has something to say they should be held accountable whether it be positive or negative.

Kurt, This was one of the things that impressed me about this site. I don't belong to many forums but have always signed in as myself. I'm proud of who I am and what I say.

I honestly don't think anyone should have to put their real name on any board...(& legally if you can be forced)... Everyone has a right to privacy... If you think about it, it's dangerous, stalkers who are not registered & view this board can see us & have our full name, but we cant see them... now unless u make it manatory to register to enter this site & require a password, then I can see that as a rule, otherwise I don't agree. It is understanable if you expect everyone who becomes a member to register with their real name (so the moderator can keep things under control), but first name along with photo should be more than enough & safer especially for the females. This is how big companies like AOL handle issues, to open an account you have to use your real name, but are not forced to reveal your full name for privacy reasons, but if someone tries to cause trouble, they can be tracked down by AOL. You are all being watched on this board by many who are not registered... they know your full name... you know nothing aboout them... think about it.

Gary, I think you should be the one exception to the rule. Your posts are specifically intended for the purpose of keeping us up-to-date on what is going on at ARM TV. However, I will put your name next to your location. That is fair.

All members of this board do have the option to deny the public from viewing their email address. This option is a clickable box inside your profile. If a member is so worried about their name and location being displayed, well all I have to say is they are not being forced to stay 'on board'. Remember, they contact me to be a member, not the other way around. But honestly Harry, you confuse me. You are worried about your security, yet you have your full name and address posted right on your website! Don't take this personal Harry, as I do value you as a member of this board. Just realize that it is impossible to keep every single member happy all the time. And another thing, I could give a rat's ass what AOL does...

I agree with Kurt 100%. If you are on this Board everyone more than likely knows who you are anyway.
