Chandler was crazy, I would sit back and laugh my ass off as the west coast guys got so pissed off as he would suck them into that hook in an instant.

Andrew has a better hook than most people know. John definitely has the most technical hook like Simon says I have never had the pleasure of pulling you Simon, but you have definitely put some horsepower into your hook, as well as improving your ability to keep from getting drug out to pulling on your bicep. I wish Andrew hadn't fouled out against you at Arnolds, it looked like you guys were having a pretty good tug!

Now Mr. Parton knows how to hook, I hope someday we will be able to have that war it would be an honor.
I have pulled Andrew before in a strap and against me he really does not hook per say he more uses his dragging back pressure and leverage from his rotating wrist to create a stop against me hooking him. I looks like he is hooking because I have him turned in but there is no "through" pressure it is all out.
In that Arnold match he was loading back after the initial hit trying to crack me so he could go over, after the first foul when my wrist would not go I knew I could be patient and hold him and he would end up doing it again.

lbs for lbs.....in north America, I agree with JAMES R. on this one name:
-------------GEORGI GELASHVILI-------------------
I wished he had more chance to pull......He was 210 lbs when I trained with team Newyork back in October and he felt like a rock in the hook.........For those of you that do not knpw Georgi- he lives n NY and pulled on Mohegun Sun beating John Brzenk in hook on left hand....He lost his right hand matches by getting toprolled.....not in the hook......He lost 5 yrs ago to Todd Hutchinks after a long battle in the hook but he was around 182lbs back then and todd was around 210.......

Ibrahim Ibragimov. Usually pulled up high, but I saw him drag Oleg Chegodeyev into a deep hook that must have lasted a minute a few years back in Poland. He does not get mentioned nearly as often as he deserves. Is his hook the best ever? Who's to say. Maybe a handful of people in the world could say no... For the rest of us mortals his hook is plenty good enough to win.

Not that I disagree with Engin, but what about putting Zoloev (lets say 165) and John (how about 220) in one class. I could do one for North America, but for the rest of the world, you or Neil are the guys that would know.
