No Engin I guess I am asking who would be the best in the 154 and 176 if you only put Zoloev in one class (165) and who would be the best hook puller at 198 and 242 if you put John in one class (220).

That is a damn good list. Interesting that right handed the best in the world showing up by class it is likely these guys would finish first as well.
Ferit is the only one I cannot picture at the moment I will have to go look him up.

Hello Engin,
you listed Devon as the top hooker in the heavyweights. I have not seen his fights against John yet, so I don't know it better. Just curious if you really think that Devon can beat every heavyweight puller incl. Denis Ciplenkov and Richard Lupkes in hook. As you listed Devon your answer have to be "yes" I guess. But for me this is just hard to imagine and I think we didn't see enough from Devon yet to say that he can do this, although I'm a big Devon fan.

Interesting that right handed the best in the world showing up by class it is likely these guys would finish first as well. . at 121 Robert Chomaev from Russia beat Dmitry in Canada to take 1. place. at 187 Arsen is untouchable. other than these two the rest would win at WAF, JMO.but John,Devon,Ferit,Zoloev,Roman and Ron are well rounded pullers who can beat their opponents with different styles.

Hello Engin, you listed Devon as the top hooker in the heavyweights. I have not seen his fights against John yet, so I don't know it better. Just curious if you really think that Devon can beat every heavyweight puller incl. Denis Ciplenkov and Richard Lupkes in hook. As you listed Devon your answer have to be "yes" I guess. But for me this is just hard to imagine and I think we didn't see enough from Devon yet to say that he can do this, although I'm a big Devon fan. if a light version of John handled Ciplenkov with a rotator controlled hook then Devon could as well beat Ciplenkov in a hook.Ciplenkov is very strong but still not very good about using his strength.from one side i must say that with such muscle size i dont have much of hopes that he will ever become a technical puller who can also use some joint strength.you can not always win with a pure bicep strength.in a best out of 6 hook matches Devon would win 4-5 matches IMO.about Richard Lupkes we still do not know enough to judge him esspecially after his injury.i guess the time will show about him.i guess John would be the best judge to tell us about where Richard stands. i can not say that i did not see of Devon enough after his matches against Ron,Travis and John.one can say Brzenk was not as ready as he should be for such a high level match up,about Travis one can say that because of his style is not based on pure power it did not prove Devon's strength(even though stopping such an explosive hit requires a great strength),but his match against Ron was convincing enough to prove his strength, esspecially after Ron has stated the fact that Devon is very strong.until it will be proven otherwise Devon is the proven best of today in my book.

IMO Dennis would beat both John and Devon in a hook. IF all pullers stayed in a hook position.
John could not finish Dennis in a Hook and applied pressure to his hand to finish Dennis. Also Devon with that long arm would be at a leverage disadvantage against Dennis in a hook. However, in a match Devon could TR Dennis or Hook and then finish with a shoulder roll.
But this thread is about Hook Only. So i go with Dennis in Hook.

John at 93kg could not finish Denis in hook, but was easily controlling him in hook.i can imagine what would happen if 105kg John as he was in 2006 Vegas

John at 105kg=unstoppable end of story. Bam Bam's hook is very impressive, just watch the 165 ROTN at Bad to the Bone 2007 C. Chandler and Mr. Dye impressed the hell outta me
