Thanks Alan.
Here's what I've got for 176 left. It was tough:
1. Robertas Prozivalskis (wins the Harley Pull convincingly, wins 198 class at IL States) 2. Brandon Redmond (hard to rank b/c doesn't get out much, but beat Eric Baldino at the 2008 Kentucky Muscle and won the 198 ROTN Medal Class) 3. Eric Baldino (numerous wins on good pullers, most notably beating Danial Worley at the beginning of this year) 4. Shane Mclaughlin (2007 AAA national champ at 189 lbs. has wins on Bobby Green, Jeremy Plaster, ect. but don't think he can beat Dan Worley) 5. Bobby Green (3rd at Unified's behind Klemba and Worley but has wins on Shane Mclaughlin and Ethan Fritsche (after they had a supermatch with each other though)) 6. Scott Hazelwood (strong puller with wins on a lighter Robertas and wins over a lighter Klemba but went down hard to Klemba and Robertas at 2009 Harley Pull) 7. Jim Larson (got a win on Corey Miller in 2008 at 165 lbs., no active pullers in the Heartland Armwrestling Association can touch his left at 176, beat Justin Rhodes) 8. Paul Vertalka (3rd place at Harley Pull, 1st place Michigan States 176 lbs.) 9. Mike Moeller (2007 Iowa State Champ, has placed at nationals, given Jeremy Plaster a good run, has a win on Justin Rhodes) 10. Greg Thompson (won some matches at the Harley Pull, beat Mike Dawson)
please let me know how it looks. Making this, I realized how many beastly lefties there are in the midwest at 176!

Left Hand 0-154 lbs. tell me what you think: 1. James Runyon (2nd at the Harley Pull, got a win on Soliwoda, got a win on Kyle Knapp at MI States) 2. Jeremy Plaster (wins pretty much every tournament he goes to has winning record vs. Ethan) 3. Ethan Fritsche (won Unified Nationals and beats everybody else in the midwest) 4. Dan Blanchard (3rd place left handed at MI States, gave James Runyon all that he could handle). 5. Totraz Tomaev (3rd at Harley Pull over Luke Stanley, Marvin Berry, Aaron Gutt, Matt Bourdon...) 6. Gene Dunn (2nd at Worlds in Masters, beat Marvin Berry at nationals, hard to rank b/c in the results I've seen he mostly pulls master now and not open) 7. Marvin Berry (4th place at Harley Pull, beat Luke Stanley, overall strong puller) 8. Luke Stanley (easily wins all toproll tournaments at 154 (so far), 1st at Pull for the Hungry, Illinois States, beat some strong guys at the Harley Pull) 9. Alan Berget (gave Runyon a decent match at MI states, placed 3rd). 10. Josh Handeland (won SD States beating Josh Wickre who wins a lot of Heartland Tournament in that class and beat Heath McDonald who beat Brian Robling. Beat Brandon Hareldson, held a worn out Jeremy Plaster for a couple sec.) josh how many left handed open or pro class events have you pulled in @ 154??

Hmm... 3. I don't think it matters how many you've pulled but how you've performed (if someone pulled only one time and beat Mr. Runyon I'd rank them at #1). If there's someone who should be ranked above me I'm all ears, I am not trying to boost myself up at all.

I'd love for you to come up! I would love to pull you, I don't think I can win but I'd be fun to try, and I'd rather place 2nd or 3rd at a tournament behind good pro's than win a state title that only amateurs show up for. Jim Larson said he is coming, too! I think you and Jim would be a good match!
Anyways. 198's right hand later today about to hit the sac. Need to think about where to put some people.

Also about Drew Dominique. He has beaten Dan Blanchard a couple of times or more. He took 2nd at AAA nationals in 2006 to Jason Rivas. Shane Binversie was 3rd. And then a few weeks later at the MI state for 2006 Shane beat Drew and I was third.

Alan, when is the last time Shane and Drew competed? I looked for results on them and the last time they competed that I could find was in 2007. If they truly haven't competed for ~2 years, I would consider them inactive. You said Drew beat you a couple weeks ago, what tournament was this at?

198's right hand: 1. Brent Rakers (won triple crown 2nd year in a row, has always beaten Ryan Clark) 2. Ryan Clark (won the Harley Pull beating Razor, 4th at Unified's, 4th at Worlds) 3. Steve “Razor” Rau (1st at nationals, 5th at worlds, at 187, beating Scott Ballinger. Won Arnolds beating Rakers but lost to Clark at the Harley Pull) 4. Bill Logsden (got a win on Razor at the Arnolds, 2nd place IL State, 1st place Pull for the Hungry, lightweight toproll champion) 5. Scott Ballinger (3rd at Harley Pull beating Sonny Larson, 3rd at MI States in 220+ class, overall midwest challenge winner over Doug Allen). 6. Sonny Larson (SD State Champ at 220 over Marty O'Neil, beat Remus at Harley Pull, gave Razor a good match). 7. Mike Bowling (got a win on Brent Rakers at the ROTN and beat Eric Wolfe, didn't do as well at Tahoe, though) 8. Sterling Miles (3rd at IL States where he went 1-1 with Bill Logsden. needs to get out more). 9. Marty O'Neil (2nd to Sonny Larson at SD States but gave him a match. Used to be a beast at 176, you'll see him more yet this year) 10. Remus Bilevicius (2nd at MI States beating Dan Vertalka and Scott Ballinger (Scott pulled 2 classes though) beat Rodney Lumbarto and a couple other guys at the Harley Pull)
NOTE: I ranked Scott Ballinger at 198 not 176. He pulled 176 at the Arnold and then at the National Team Championships, but then he pulled 200 at the Harley Pull and 187 at Unified's and those are major tournaments. He does very well at 198, too, BUT if anybody knows that he is planning on going back down to 176 please let me know and I'll rank him at 176.

198's left, what do you guys think?

Daniel Vertalka (beat Remus and Michael Otey at the Harley Pull, 1st at MI States over Robertas, Remus, and Scott Ballinger) 5. Scott Ballinger (beat Remus at MI States and the Midwest Challenge, beat Mike West, beat Robertas at MI States (Robertas beat Tony Villa at the Chicago Tournament in July)) 6. Remus Bilevicius (Won 2008 Kentucky Muscle over Brent Rakers and Doug Allen. Beat Ed Stapleton. 2nd at IL States over Bill Logsden, Sterling Miles, Mike Snelling, and Jared Cook) 7. Brent Rakers (2nd at Unified Nationals, beat Tony Villa and Ryan Clark) 8. Tony Villa (3rd at Unified Nats, gave Rakers all that he could handle, beat Ryan Clark) 9. Ed Stapleton (4th at the Harley Pull, beat Ryan Clark, Valdas, Chris Heath) 10. Ryan Clark (4th at Unified Nationals, gave Sonny hell at the Harley pull but Ed Stapleton took him down convincingly).

Yeah Brent's left may be better now but I think he has to beat some people first, and Scott also beat Robertas who tore through Bill Logsden and Sterling Miles at Illinois States like they were nothing, so Scott's left may be better than some people realize. I do wonder why he didn't pull left handed at the Harley Pull.

For the next one I am planning on skipping 220's and going to 242's (like on inthehook.com). If when I am making the rankings I decide there are enough pullers at 220 to make a 220 ranking, I will make 220's and 242's separate.

I do wonder why he didn't pull left handed at the Harley Pull. logsden and miles (have pulled both) like to stay up top where as scott is very comfortable inside IMAO so him doing well against robertas is understandable. have felt robertas also and ANYONE who can hold that guy inside let alone beat him has done something few can in the us.

I do wonder why he didn't pull left handed at the Harley Pull. i've got injured in this tournament pulling Scot, that was very bad tournament, it was very cold outside, and i couldn't warm up well, so hit to hard and that's it, i coudn't pin him over the pain;) i'll see how Vertelka or Scot will beat me, when i'm not injured
