I agree on most.......as far as round robin reflects rankings, I think match for match is fine but I do think you will find a,b,c trifectas where a beats b, b beats c, c beats a .......what will that do for ranking those three pullers....maybe those losses cancel each other out?

IMO....THE round robin features the chance for all guys to pull each other, granted one may be more tired than the next....but everyone still pulls everyone and usually the round robin will feature mostly top 10 elite pullers and if those guys battle to sudden death....i feel every win is hard fought and earned..... scenario: at my last SS....Stump / Tim / Prez only lost one match each and it was only to each other.... then as they finished the overtime rounds they scored wins on each other.....which means they won and lost against each other......to say that doesnt count to me.........i dunno..... i honestly think it should.....those guys were pulling like crazy...to tell them it don't count is kinda hard to do. The round robin style is great. You have to have the Heart, endurance and strength. You have to have all aspects of a good puller. During the sudden deaths I was tired, but hell so was Frank and Tim. We are talking about the top ranked pullers in the SEC. That type tournament proves who were the best that day.

Don't get me wrong for entertainment value I love the round robin format...I think it adds the stamina element and I wouldn't wanna take a win away from anyone. However I do see issues with the legitimacy of a win if you have a war with a guy and then have to pull someone who flashed their last opponant but that can happen with luck of draw in a tournament as well.........all wins count, not arguing that but for rankings sake their may have to be tie breakers for those trifecta situations
So you can go ahead and put me down as yes on all of the above

2. WINS-LOSSES COUNT ON FOULS (RANKINGS CHANGE) (TK YES)(AE YES)(SB YES)(DO YES) Not that I know much about AW, but swapping rankings on fouls is weak... Yes a foul means the one guy blew it. If I beat Shoemaker, Blevins, TRussel, Snook, SimonB, Owens on fouls I'd feel as if it meant nothing...... But a war with any of those guys means somthing.

Alright, i'm back. Been very busy changing jobs and driving 3 hrs a day to work and back, haven't had any chance to get on here and discuss some of these new things you guys are talking about. But, here goes.....
YES IF AGREE / NO IF DISAGREE
IF NO STATE YOUR CASE
COPY AND PASTE ADD YOUR ANSWERS:
AND ADD A RULE YOU FEEL NEEDS A VOTE.
THIS APPLIES ONLY TO THE 6 SEC LEADERS.
1. OVERALLS DO NOT COUNT AGAINST RANKINGS (TK YES)(AE YES)(SB YES)(DO YES)(AB YES)
2. WINS-LOSSES COUNT ON FOULS (RANKINGS CHANGE) (TK YES)(AE YES)(SB YES)(DO YES)(AB **DEPENDS/maybe/most times YES, every pull is subjective IMO....sorry**)
3. ROUND ROBIN EVENTS (RANKINGS CHANGE COUNT) (TK YES)(AE YES)(SB YES)(DO)(AB **SUBJECTIVE**)
4. ALL WINS -LOSSES WITHIN A REG TOURNAMENT FORMAT (EXCEPT OVERALLS) COUNT. (MULTIPLE CLASS PULLERS) (TK YES)(AE YES)(SB YES)(DO YES)(AB **SUBJECTIVE**)
THIS IS ALL I GOT FOR NOW.
I WOULD ALSO APPRECIATE EVERYONES INPUT, BUT A VOTE WILL BE MADE BY THE 6.

So.......IMO, we as a "committee" can disagree and still be a solid group/committee. If we ALL agree on all of the above then why do we have a committee? Everyone votes....everyone sees the same results and matches....everyone has the same rankings.....no need for a committee...?
My rankings may differ from TK's...and David's and Stumps, etc...THAT'S good IMO. When they are averaged together, then...... that tells you what the rest of the region thinks of you....not just your potentially biased regional affiliation and regional "ranker... person...guy".
I think, for us....as a committee....the BIG things are....have your rankings in on time each month, be unbiased, be smart, be objective and stay up on results. This is what the committee IMO was built for....to be diverse and to collectively have a knowledgeable opinion to bring together as a group and rank a large region. People may think this is stupid and too much for one region and maybe lame....but, its an attempt to be accurate and take care of pullers who are doing well and deserve recognition for their hard work..... \ thats all I got right now....

SO STILL THERE IS GOIN TO BE NO RULEBOOK? ? Believe me this will not work if your trying to grow the sport....anyway why dosent anyone ever have kids classes......crap even if theres only twenty kids that pull...every monday i went back to school and people asked me....what did u do this weekend.....if they all tell 5 people and they only mention it to one kid...figure the number out if u want....but we need kids in the sport.....I was that "undefeated badass" kid at my school.....an i never ever pursued to find a club until someone told me about it a year later....you cant walk upto an grown adult and be like yo bro u wanna start playin a sport....no football player starts at 25 years old....does anyone want kids classes with participation awards so every kid gets a small trophy? it could cancel each other out essentially.....5 dollar entry and the trophy cant even cost that much....the sport needs to grow....is florida by any chance twice the size of any other state so we can have 2 reps....all of the committee should be business based so maybe oneday we can have a 100000000000000 people armwrestling around the country....it has to start with kids classes and a RULE book though.....I really love the group idea....like i said before....use the committee to make a rulebook? what the hell is the problem with that? ?? please tell me whats wrong with a rule book

I agree with aaron ....I think the best way to make these rankings fair is have each member of the committee submit a rankings for each class and then average them togather, that way if aaron dismisses a win by fouls and tk doesn't it all works out in the wash, the best part about it is the group opinion and it will hold more value than any rankings done by one man
Here's a simple suggestion on how to do this, each member submit a pm to tk ranking each class one to ten........then give points by rank in reverse order......so anyone ranked 1st by a member gets 10 points, 2nd gets nine and so on then add them togather and that will give us a combine ranking for howmany ever pullers get ranked, possibly more than top ten since some peoples rankings may have different pullers thanothers
