No one on the board is really talking about Libya and the rest of the Middle East, and I'm curious what you all think. I personally agree with Ron Paul and Putin: www.ronpaul.com/2011-03-18/ron-paul-why-obama-is-wrong-on-libya/What really worries me is when the people of Saudi Arabia finally get fed up and overthrow their monarchy. Talk about gas prices quadrupling.

Back to the thread title. Do you believe what the Western media is telling us about Libya? We've been busted over and over again trying manufacture rebellions against leaders we didn't like, so is this just another chapter of that book?

What can i say, i feel we are pissed on daily by other countries, fellow americans of different ethnic groups, everyone really.. my last post had nothing to do with your thread, i apoligize It's all good man. When people say stuff like that, I'm always curious if they're aware of something that I'm not. Obviously you being from Texas, I can guess what you're referring to.

You pretty much got it...i just dont have respect for someone that makes it harder to get health care, strip SSI from our parents and us!! I guess ill start my own thread about our great president I agree with you on the health care and identity theft nonsense. The only difference with me is I look at the puppet master, not the puppet for the cause. The president is nothing more than a figure head to distract us from the people that REALLY pull the strings. The system is PERFECT. As soon as the people....cough...cough....sheep get fed up or sick of the puppet (every 4-8 years), they bring in another one. While the entire time no one bothers to look behind the curtain.

Ron Paul had my vote in 2012. It's sad he won't have a chance, again, to win. Alex Jones (Prison Planet) has dedicated his life calling "bull$h!t" on the government. Yeah, I'm a fan. I haven't seen your clip yet but I don't believe the media anyway. They carry no credibility. From the little I know about the situation, if the U.N. agreed, as a whole, that someone needs to step in, why us? Why are we the ones to "lead" this? Our resources have thinned and our finances......well there aren't any. So what's the REAL reason ya know? I think, what the media is saying is the truth but it's also the justification.

We will never know the truth about any details regarding goverment issues, i just wish we had more aof a choice on day to day things, not just what puppet we have in office. I know right? God forbid the taxpayers actually get to vote or have their representatives vote as to whether or not we go to war!! If you get a chance, check out a couple documentaries I've watched recently: War Made Easy (talking about the media's involvement in "convincing" the American people to go to war) South of the Border (Oliver Stone interviews South American Presidents like Hugo Chavez) Fidel (Obviously about Fidel Castro) I love how we call leaders of Socialist countries dictators because they don't want to be slaves to our globalist IMF policies and debt schemes.

I tell you what though. The shiite WILL hit the fan, and I believe it's going to be during or after the Saudi people finally get fed up. When we lose that cheap oil, our country will stop and then the people will finally wake up from the dream world our system/government has had us in.
"Prudence ... will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
THOMAS JEFFERSON, Declaration of Independence

seeing America in the middle of everything everywhere on the globe just adds to my belief that it is the Mystery Babylon
So many things happen that make little sense and makes me think there is something else that is going on that they try hard to keep people from knowing ---------its hard to explain what i mean but i trust our government about as much as i trust Satan the devil

Sending our troops there has drawn the line for many Independent and Left voters. Obama is political career with his own people.

Sometimes war is needed...one great example 9-11 I agree........assuming we are retaliating against the people that actually attacked us.....

There are TONS of examples of this:
Not wanting to get into a political debate, just pointing out the blatant lies told to us in a time of grief to further their agenda.
