Ron Paul with VP Allen West I would love for Col. West to be on the ticket. I like him a lot and my boss is currently running against him for US Rep. It might things easier. |

I think it should speak volumes when Newt, Romnney, Santorum and the media outlets all gang up on Ron Paul. The two presidents that attempted to end the Fed, booth wound up dead. He knows what's at stake. Obama has thrown this country so far in the wrong direction that, what we need is a president to do the TOTAL opposite and hopefully we would get somewhere, other than having Romney who agrees with Obama's policies, no matter what he tells us. May the real Mitt Romney please stand up

Kris your my hero. I'm running as an alternate Go for sure, especially since Santorum is out, a lot of alternates will get/got seated as delegates. You should have seen all these stick up their ass, establishment Republicans get all pissed off every time the Ron Paul people started cheering (which was loud and often). Good stuff! |

I know you aren't a Conservative, but from your perspective would you agree that this display by the RNC types only proves that Conservatives are not represented by the RNC? I don't think people on the left really understand that. The RNC is the NeoCon party, which is not rooted in Conservatism. True Conservatism is Libertarianism minus the anarchism that also tends to fall into modern Libertarianism's umbrella. Conservatism (the actual foundation of the Republican party) is about constitutional strict-construction. |

To be honest John, right now I would consider myself Libertarian on the border of being an Anarchist. This was kind of my last attempt to be a part of changing the corrupt system we have. If this doesn't work, then I believe that every effort afterward will be in vain. The state will have too much power at that point. As far as the perception of the true Conservative. I have to be honest, there was a TON of right wing rhetoric and propaganda that the majority in attendance were all about. So, I really can't say that Conservatives aren't represented by the RNC, when the majority were salivating at the usual Fox News highlights. I would say though that the majority of the RP supporters weren't as bad. They were like me and just sat back and watched the spectacle. Some of the stuff was pretty scary if viewed for the first time. It's amazing how brain washed people can be. For instance, they had a opening prayer thing  where a Catholic Priest gave a little sermon about how Obama is a Socialist and the Socialist agenda. Pretty strange to me, but I view the Dems and the GOP as two sides of the same BS coin. I would guess though, that the Democratic State Convention would have probably been the same spectacle, just reversed. Gotta love the 2 party dictatorship we have.  |
