Giles...best supermatch armwrestler in history isn't a bad deal.... but that would imply that whoever is deemed the best tournament armwrestler in history is equally devalued.

And how do u figure that out? Only a very select few r asked to pull in these super matches. whether its Igors shows or Neil's.And basically the same pull in both...,,except for Meils when they r put on in England/ Europe Let Devon, MT, TH, Milne, Hale etc, qualify and got to a Worlds with anywhere from 20+ AWers in their class, and see how they do....oh and same with Denis.. You're right, it's not easy to figure out. There is quite a bit of merit in winning tournaments. I certainly can't deny that, as that is the primary format for armwrestling. To win elite tournaments... you have to be good. No question.
I like the supermatch for eliminating a lot of what if's, bad draws etc to have more pure data (which is still speculation at the end of the day to compare armwrestlers who have never pulled each other).
Sounds like an age old debate to me, which I enjoy. Maybe we need.... a super tournament! Top 20 of each weight class. Triple elimination format. Now THAT would be something to see, change the rankings a bit.

Here is a good way of looking at it?? Who ranks very high in supermatches *Brzenk* but also DOMINATES in tournaments too *Brzenk* Overall would be the person who does better in both if you dominate in one and can't be top 3 at a world event consistently then you aren't the best all around armwrestler in my opinion.

World level event aka Zloty. I wanna see Devon pull at the Zloty myself. In my opinion and it is just my humble opinion, he needs to be beating guys in a tournament also if he wants to be labeled the best ever because John could dominate in both. He dominated Denis and was weighing 209 at one point right?? He did it at Zloty AND in a supermatch. That means he took whatever situation and was the best. Devon is just dominating the supermatch aspect and there is no argument at all from me there. I think healthy and ready he can literally beat anybody either arm in a supermatch but in a tournament can he do the same. He may have more endurance but there are some guys who are stronger in 1-2 matches against him. I just wanna see him pull more to be honest because I like watching him pull from a fan's aspect..... I could care less what he is ranked as JUST PULL AT ZLOTY ONCE........ Devon is there any thoughts on if you can make it to a Zloty in the near future sir?

John Milne we need a video briefing from Devon on his thoughts on these questions. We know he has the supermatch format on LOCK. Well did hopefully he can be stronger when he recovers from his surgery. But what is his thoughts on trying to go and dethrone Denis at the Zloty??

Are elbows off the back of the elbow pad no longer being called as a foul? Looks like forearm on the elbow pad is good enough, or maybe it's just the camera angle! LOL
Thanks for posting the links! It was fun to watch.

It's rad to see Denis hitting fast and top rolling instead of just catching and dragging. Looks like he is not only crazy strong but becoming a "good armwrestler"

It was fun to watch. That was almost hard to watch. Arsen's elbow was AGAIN almost a good 6 inches off the back at times. Either the refs were told to let elbow fouls go or they are blind.
