Watching Arsen win makes me bonkers... Just one of those fouls when he drags you 6" his side and blows your arm and wrist is enough to loosen you up for the rest of matches without him fouling. How does he get away with it EVERY time ?.... Makes me crazy If I ever pull him... I'll beg the ref... Fu(k the wrist, forget about the start and center line... Pin your eyeballs on his elbow. He is regarded as being one of the best, but I believe he would seem much more human and take his losses even at his weight if he kept the elbow on the pad.
Did the tournament itself pay out the separate weight categories ?

Man.. Yall a bunch of haters... If someone is stronger they're stronger... Get over it... Quit trying to get the refs to decide a match, let it play out... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Arsen pulling his elbow that far off the back is a huge advantage. Hes pretty much cheating and getting away with it. IMO Pushkar was a good deal stronger, but had to wear himself out trying to pull through arsens arm, with his arm being extended OVER arsens pad.

In the first match Andre actually top rolled Arsen... If you watch the slow motion footage you see Arsen palm up, wrist back and on andres side of the table.... They didn't slip... Arsen pulled out... That should be a loss or foul He needs the straps to top roll effectively A good hand and side pressure seems to trump back pressure... At least in theory, you can only go so far back before you run out of pad, but in his case he has no out of bounds backwards

I went back and watched a few Arsen vids, once RVJ pointed out the floating elbow. It's pretty bad and happens frequently. It does make me begin to question his dominance somewhat.

Where is the rule that says you can't FLOAT ur elbow....Or that it needes to be PLANTED into the elbow pad? Isnt it ok, when lying on ur tricep, ala MT, or George, that as long as ur elbow is "over' the pad, its ok... How about "bitching" that at WAF ( most in this "sport' want as a uniformed rules for every assoc) ur arm can be angled... IF ITS WITH IN THE RULES OF THE ASSOC PUTTING ON THE TOURNEY, THEN ITS OK? Damn, People even want tricep pushing, ( Jerry C) and MT or Georges move, BANNED......Usually by you "toppers' who are all WEAK, and cant beat those moves... A famous QUOTE, by Travis bagent, after his first lose to Jerry C at their 10K MATCH....TO TRAVIS. "TRAVIS, GRIP LOW, HE WILL FLOP IN A HOOK." " TRAVIS, " I HAVE NO BICEP. " U got to be kidding with that......They r beatable, have been beaten..... Like an old "shoulder roller" once said to me. " We called Toppers CHEATERS"...And that became the normal in North America. And you see how all you "toppers" from here do at WAF..LOL Oh wait, thats right, ALL the Europeans are on anabolics, thats why the win...lol

This is not a matter of a little elbow poping or floating. It 6 or more inches off the back of the pad.
This is not a grey area like MT or CG this is CLEARY a foul.

If toprollers are "weak" how do they ever win? If the toproller has the strogest hand and wrist, but has "no bicep", how is it the toproller doesn't get pinned? I know everyone pulls different, but is it not the bicep that keeps the arm from being completely opened up and pinned? "The strap tells no lies". ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
