I have met Matthias Schlitte, Oleg Zhokh, Dennis Cyplenkov... and I honestly believe this guys hand tops them all!!! Meet Jeff Dabe, a 49 year old man with an insane hand/forearm, who showed up to my tournament yesterday. He pulled left hand supers, and won super easy (played with everybody). I'm sure there are guys with longer fingers probably, but thicker hands? For the record, my hands are pretty small (maybe avg for 154), the first pic is my hand with Cyplenkov's. Next is Jeff's hand compared to mine. Also, how many others are there with forearms like Matthias, Oleg Zhokh, and Jeff (guys who were both with unnaturally large hands/forearms)?

Any video of this giant!
What was his weight and height?
A overall pic of his stature would be nice.
Sounds like we'll be seeing more of this creature! ;D

He is 49, and said he was 250 something, height? 5'10 perhaps? Yeah I have video of the whole tournament (tripod view).

Did he pull well? Richard has the most imposing hand I have seen or felt.

He pulled left only and won easily. He said he never went more than 50%. Richard's hands may be bigger/longer, but idt they are thicker.

Mr. Ron Howell from Texas has amazingly huge hands like that also. There is a video of him on Arm TV holding a can of coke and you can't see it at all!

Not the best quality video, but here ya go. The guy on the right is my teammate Mark Cichy, who just started in March, but he is very strong, he beat Corey Miller lefty in June at MN States. The guy on the left...

What bothers me is how this man's ring finger is so much longer than his index- and middle finger. www.livescience.com/14891-finger-length-ratio-penis-size.htmlIt may be a case that Jeff Dabe was exposed to more testosterone in the womb, and that statistically speaking he has a greater risk of developing prostate cancer. I'm sorry, but there are many studies and scientists seem to be gathering trends. On Denis' hand: I recall that after Brzenk beat him in 2008 Zloty, John mentioned on this board that he believes that Denis is having a hard time holding onto opponents and securing handcontrol. I don't know if Denis has learnt how to negate any problems that could possibly arise from AWing with a bigger hand, but Devon has a pretty tame-looking hand and seems to be able to adjust to the best positions possible.

Josh, how much do you think that Jeff's large hand has to do with his natural ability in AW, or his success in the events? In the training forum, John Schnell mentioned to me that his friend Dave Chaffee is "built...for armwrestling". teammaine.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=training&action=display&thread=25775&page=2I asked the following, for interest's sake: Josh, you didn't by any chance ask Jeff to stand still so that you could measure these ratios? Anybody else know their measurements? Since this is a case of relating success to these ratios, isn't it? Yes, this man has huge hands, but Josh is reporting that he didn't even have to excert himself above 50% of his capability to beat every puller that showed up, apparently.

No I didn't. I'm not sure how much his hand (and wrist/forearm) size has to do with his "natural ability". I was told that he had done many armwrestling contests spread throughout the years and hasn't lost left handed since he was 17 (he is 49 now). I'm assuming he has only done local contests though since I've never seen him, and can't find any results of his online. But it's possible he got stronger from years of pulling in tournaments, or perhaps he has trained for armwrestling before, or does other activities which make him strong for armwrestling, besides just having a big hand. Impossible for me to say how much of a factor the enormous hand/forearm is. Was Oleg Zhokh good at armwrestling right out of the gate or did he have to train, does anybody know? He has a hand and forearm like Dabe's (left only).

@ Josh,
I'm not sure Jeff weighs "250-something" pounds at 5'10" with his build, unless his hands weigh 25 a piece. Sounds legit. Also, what is Jeff's vocation?
And, measure your own ratio, let's see Josh ;D To be a leader you have to lead by example...
