Engin you're exactly right. Ryan you're also partially right when you said those are not errors you have to ask God why they were written that way.
I believe the Bible does have erros because of translation and many plain and precious truths have been lost from the Bible because of this and because of evil and corruption.
The Lord hasn't left us alone though! He reveals his word to Prophets and Apostles now just as he did in the Meridian of time.
We also have a book called The Book of Mormon which is the writings of ancient prophets from the American continent that help us understand the truths of God more plainly.
I hope i don't offend anyone with this post. I have seen my beliefs offend many peole but i know they are true!
I agree that there are some translations that are off pretty bad but those are not accurate word for word translations. King James, New King James, American Standard Are word for word translation.
NIV, NLT, and The Message are word for thought or thought for thought translations. These are what people read and thought and rewrote and i do not agree with these translations. They often leave out major principles of the gospel.
As far as word for word translation you will find they are very accurate and the closest you can get to the original texts in an english language.
The bible is very accurate to the original texts if you study the original texts and look at the new translations you will find that they are very accurate. Of course due to language differences there are things There that are more indepth and you can do bible studies and god will give you a deeper and better understanding of it. You dont need another book,(maybe i ought not go there, forgive me if that is offensive)
I wrote on another post that i will not speak about other "Christian" Religions unless you ask me to or the spirit leads me to.
I want to try to keep the things i say to the simple truth of the Gospel and dont want to argue with menial things.
