Im fine i came home from church. My oil light was one i put not even half a quart of oil in it then i go to cut the grass and as i go towards the lawn mower the sky is full of smoke and my car is full of flames. I put out half te fire with my hose and by the time the fire department got there they also used my hose. Whats the point in the big trucks?

Ryan sorry to hear about your car man. That F'n sucks. Hopefully your insurance company doesn't jerk you around and helps you pretty quickly.

I dont think the oil did it. but who knows it is the likely suspect, but ive spilled oil sevral times on my truck and on my car and it smoked and burned off. And that while i was driving. this time my car wasnt even running.

Man, tough break! Sorry to hear about that. I know you were proud of the rims when you mentioned them at Contraband. Were they warped? You know... those new tires could have been rubbing on the tire well and generated heat (provided you just drove it) and caused a flame. Hot brakes also could have been a factor. Was the car running hot? If so, was it due to no oil in the engine? Did the oil light go off because the circuitry in your dash may have been faulty and that started the fire? OR, did you need the insurance money and thought of having a bon-fire? ;D Ryan, the image of having a new set of tires and rims could have made you hot-rod your car and you not even know it, but I mean come'on...it's a Grand Prix! (cheering you up dude)

Pete thats two funny, but thats why I"d buy a Jetta or a Volvo, because they never die and would definately never catch on fire.

I wouldn't be so sure of that -- all you need is an oil leak (which my Passat currently has) and a bit of bad luck (or Divine judgement).

God was telling me one of two things. "Use a funnel next time you put oil in your car" or "You held your car at too high a standard and priority in your heart so i took it away" He could simply be making a way forme to get a new car it was past due on a transmission rebuild it had 170000 miles on it, the shocks were bad blah blah blah. Likley God was telling me to be careful of your false idols and at the same time preparing me for future situations and helping me get out of debt (well see when i get my check) God is defenitly in it. And all over it. I praise God and I thank him for having his hand in my life. Also God gives me the peace to get through this. One more thing, there is something about that car my wife wouldnt like, So perhaps God took care of that for me to. and we'll leave it at that. Its in the past and under the blood. God is Omnipresent, he is everywhere all the time God is Omniscient (sp) All knowing, he knows the past present and future. God is Omnipotent. All powerful. He is in control of everything. past present and future.
