Thank you both! I didn't know anything about the book, or Mary, and I researched it a little. I was honestly surprised at some of the things I read.

I think all of you should read the book first and then come on here a critisize it i disagree 100 %. I also read the R Brown book and thought it was good and its about spiritual warfare and some of the things they went through when helping people out of the accult.Whether you believe in the book on hell or not i know of many people who have become christians after reading it.How can you critisize that.Read the book first then come on here and tell me whats wrong with it

as you said i havent read the book. but you must agree that we must glorify christ, not self. Herod spoke once and people praised him as a god, he did not give god the glory and god smote him and he was ate up with worms within 5 days....point is we must be very careful in the gospel we preach. there are many gospels out there...false gospels. Im not criticizing the woman or the book any more than i heard the book was off.. personally i dont need a divine revelation of hell.....i dont want to go there

i will say this....that any prophecy or wvision will always bebacked up and supported by scripture.....god doesnt give "new" visions and revelations its in the word or we dont need it.

You seam to have good comon sense on most things but i think your off on this one. If you read the the bible then you know not many prophets where accepted in there time.I dont see where it clashes with the bible but then again i read the book.

A lot of folks read the book "A Million Little Pieces" also, and signed off on that one......I'm not asking anyone here to respect my opinion. I couldn't care less if they did or not. The book was mentioned, I looked into it, apparently some prominent Christian leaders don't feel the book or her testimonies are worth reading. I have no personal stake in any of this!

Some say they know for certain some say they think some say they don't know and some say their definatly isn't a God. But it is erealivent because God knows and believes in you.
And for those to come on here and joke and make fun of God. well believe it or not they want to believe too or they would not of seen this post at all.
For the people who do not believe. You can not denie that God or the question is their a God is the most important and powerful question of all time. It's the one Question for certain everyone in the world has asked themselfs. Is their a God? So if 6 billion people are thinking and asking the same question, thats power in itself!
Grippler Out!

When I get asked, "How can you believe in God when you can't see him". I ask them, "do you ever feel the wind on you." And they will say "yes". Then I ask them "do you believe it is the wind that you feel" and they will say “yes". Then I ask them "How can you believe in wind when you can't see it". The non believer's are usually astonished at this teaching, and will sometimes say "well because I feel it" and will say to them "I feel God physically and spiritually but I cannot see him, but I believe it is Him". Then I will say sometimes I feel him like a breeze passing by and other times I feel like I'm in the middle of a tornado. I use other references also from the wind such as do you believe leaves have the ability to fly on their own. They say no, and I continue to say it must be a miracle because I see it all the time. They will tell me, no it is the wind. And I will tell them how is that possible, all I see is the leaves flying, I will not believe anything that I cannot see!
It gets people to think a little out of the box a little. Most believers, don't even know they also believe in other things they cannot see
It is not always the best route to quote scripture straight off to a non believer. Most times they will tune your words out and does no good. Scripture can come later. Relate to the person first.
May God open the eyes to the non believers and let the teachers teach with wisdom.
I hope this post will help to all that read it. I give all glory of this knowledge to God, it is His Wisdom and not of my own.

Might have already been discussed, but where do ghosts and supernatural phenomena fall into with religion? Or is it kind of a contradiction? The reason I ask, is I was watching some show with this guy that talked to ghosts. Just wondering what you all thought

If any person reading this post have children, then you of all people should believe there is a "God" or some sort of higher power. The miracle of a child should be proof enough. Also if you don't believe you will go on after your death, it in my opinion would be a dismall life with nothing to look forward to.
To hit on what Chris just said I believe in ghosts (or whatever you all percieve them to be) because I have seen things and heard things which I can't explain (all good, not slamming doors, howling ,etc...).
