I guess Tullier must not have signed because I'm sure that he would be the top candidate at this point.

and is doing well. It has been an unbelievable last 12 days but he is walking and getting around well. His strength in his legs is about 50% and his endurance is around NONE right now but he is going to be fine!!! Thank you to everyone out there who has been praying for him and thinking of us. God is GREAT!! I can already see SO MANY good things that are happening due to this. Sometimes God needs to grab our attention. Don't sweat the small stuff guys/girls. Look at the big picture. I know that many of the things that used to keep me aggravated before mean absolutely NOTHING to me right now. I hope I can keep it that way. God has blessed me with an unbelievable family and I can't thank him enough for all that he has done for us. Love you guys!

Just my 2 cents: I liked part 2 the best out of the three. I understand that the trash talk is good for short clips, and it's entertaining, but only if you know who they are. Part 2 started to get the audience more familiar with the two pullers by telling their story. After watching that clip, even being an armwrestler, I started to choose someone to root for. I'm sure this is just a glimpse of what is to come, but like I said, more of part 2 will make the rest mean something and give Joe Schmoe someone to root for. I was watching American Ninja Warrior, and found myself rooting for, or against, a competitor because of the little clips before their runs. The whole hero/underdog vs. the heel/cocky guy thing, which is what I felt part 2 started to create. I would bet that 9-10 random people that watched that clip would want Justin Bishop to win. Now if you threw in a part 2.5 talking more about Jake's life, which I'm assuming hasn't been all gravy, then you'd have people arguing about who they want to win. That's where it gets entertaining! Again, probably just stating what you guys already know. Overall the production of the videos is awesome and can't wait to see what's next! Exactly, I'm an underdog man myself. I very rarely pull for the "Bad" guy. Seeing the difference is lifestyles and attitude in Part 2 will have a lot of people pulling for Bishop.

Maybe now. Not in Engin's prime. Engin would have flashed him. Repeatedly. Very rarely is it wise to disagree with John Wilson, but I'm going to have to on this one. Both men in their best form ever, George wins. I don't think anyone 176 and under can flash George with POWER. I think if you flash him it will have to be with SPEED. Tullier did it but in my mind it doesn't count. George should have been, but was not, aware of the new set grip rules. And besides, that was YEARS ago. I don't know what kind of shape George is in right now, but I do know he got a LOT better since that GNC tournament 10 years ago! Besides, George is in Engin's head. Gotta go with George on this one!

Either way that's a LARGE %!. MOST of the others probably stayed off the juice long enough to not test positive. Tough to beat em.

How many were actually tested? Just curious as to how many "Clean" ones were out there % wise.

I think the only (2) ways to beat george is turn his palm up, or hit him to the pad My thoughs EXACTLY!!! Part one of that equation can't be done by someone at his weight! Flash pin is about the only way it's going to happen.

Justin is a STUD. With that said, he has zero chance against Crazy George in a 2 out of 3 contest. Foul outs maybe. An actual pin, not a chance. Nothing against you Justin, you are an incredible puller and getting better every day. George is just from a different planet. I saw you run out of gas after that one hook match in Vegas. George will run you and ANYBODY else that he stops in the middle of the table out of gas as well. I hope you get a chance. It will make you appreciate OLD PEOPLE !! ;D

After lots of phone calls and a lot of thought, it appears that this tournament is not going to make it. Due to the fact that the regional finals are being held March 1, 2014 (Which is the same day as the Get A Grip tournament), it appears that most local pullers have chosen Get A Grip over NAL. I have spoken with MANY from NC and some from SC and I only have a handful of people who MAY even come. I have promised the local Crossfit gym that we will be there that day armwrestling and he has promoted it at his business and on his Facebook page so I feel like we need to show up. Here is what we are going to do.....
We are going to hold a practice on that day (Saturday, Oct. 19th from 12 noon - to at least 2 pm). We have a pretty good group of guys who have expressed an interest in coming for a practice. Myself, Jeremy Fraley, Grant Plyler, Jamie Fortenberry, Nathan Harrison, Junior Andrews, Dustin Cook, Michael Bianchi, Todd Immel, Darnel Burris, Roger Pareja, Jimmy Mabe, Clint Carpenter and the Parsons boys just to name some off the top of my head.
IF YOU WANT TO QUALIFY FOR THE NAL, WE WILL HAVE THE OPEN classes but not the Novice and Masters. If there are more than one in a class and you want to pull, we will pull that class. If you do not want to pull but want to qualify for NAL in Ohio, you can pay $25 and you are qualified (Unless there are more than 4 in that particular class). In that case we would HAVE to pull to get down to the top 4. So, to reiterate. If you need to qualify for NAL, you MUST be there and weighed in BEFORE 11:30!!!!
I just don't want to hold this tournament and only have 4-5 people show up and it look really bad for the Crossfit gym. Lets show up and have a HUGE practice and those that were planning on pullling in the tournament (Open classes) will get to pull but we will have a backup plan in case no one shows up for NAL.
Let me know if I don't have you listed but would be interested in coming to practice!
Any questions, feel free to call me at 704-791-3085
REPEAT: NOVICE AND MASTERS CLASSES ARE CANCELLED !!!
