My husband Doug would also like to add that when he wrestled Bob bishop it was like grabbing ahold of a tree trunk. He was a very nice guy and quiet. Tooooo Quiet Bob!!! Another one of those gentle Giants. There were a quite a few messup on the brackets yesterday, that's why I wish they would use AAA brackets, but other than that things whet fine. Mark I remember that match. What the ref was telling you is that it wasn't his job to tell your guy to match up pressure. that is what the other guy was doing to him. Alt of side pressure on the gripup and your guy wasn't matching it. At the time the ref was more worried about the grips then i think he would have gottne them more straight. I met Mr. Simon! he is a very nice man and a great puller. Great hook. Congrats to Miss Wimbly(14yrs i think) for taking her first, of what I beleive tho be many, Ohio Championships. You are a very good learner keep up the good work. work on your start and you are going to go far. congrats to you Doug Casto on overalls ;D It was alot of fun pulling you

Anyone remember me on ARMTV saying events need to be run by hired staff?
From what i've heard this event was a disaster.
If you don't have the dough, don't bother to show.
This means, have the money to pay real Refs and have solid tables.
Damn...I haven't hosted a tournament and I would know this!

Christina thank you so much for your help and time with Demetria, it meant a lot to both of us I wish she had someone like you to work with all the time!!!!!
Congrats to all that placed. This is a great tourney because of the people that show up every year, the level of talent, and the amount of friends we make and fun we have. All the bad stuff that happens is part of what makes it special. Why do you think so many great pullers have come here to compete and still continue to do so because of the respect that comes with winning here it is truly a great venue!!!!!!!

This tournament has had tons of complaints since i started in 05..The first time i went i could not believe all the pullers that were there! Over the years i have seen the numbers go down, this year i think was the worst?I know other people have tried to offer their table's but nothing ever happened out of it and don't know why? Frank Hirst made good points on here as to why pullers don't like the event,He's Right.. I know i say as i leave this event every year I WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS EVENT NEXT YEAR..LOL But i find myself always going anyways just because of the pullers who show up! Its always a hard tournament to place in...I remember guys use to call the Ohio State event a mini Nationals in both Novice and Pro's...Break Arm positions are sometimes scary at this event..The refs at this event may only ref maybe 3 tourneys a year if that? This event does need help and i know many have offered but it never goes anywhere... so now for some positive Frank Hirst it was Nice to finally meet ya! Thanks for the tips..Good luck to anyone who has to pull this guy! Frank will be a major force in this game for many years to come! Dave Chapelle looked impressive as well! LOL Just kidding Chaffee i had to say it..i was cracking up every time i heard Dave Chapelle...All joking aside Dave is a monster! I cant wait to see him at a AAA Or USA National! The entire PA team looked good! Look forward to seeing you guys here soon! The casto crew looked impressive as usual! Congrats to all of you! Ray J is the Man to beat in the 154's...It doesn't matter who shows up that day in his class..He owns it! Cobra is still the man in any class he enters! 89's Left Eric looked impressive even being more than 10 lbs under weight! Nice Job! I didn't make 189 so i was stuck in 209's with Bowling which was my first draw! Guess who won that? So i was doing fine after that until final 4 came around and i was beat by Gerold Dee's... I Had fun i never got screwed over and my loses to Bowling and Dee's were fair. Hope everyone had a safe trip home!

Karen has been quiet. Where is her input. Gary Roberts needs to post something here so she gets involved.

For what? About what?
Was it not an AAA event?
I shouldn't have to over rules before each tournament. I booked a flight for an AAA tournament.
When I go to a naa tournament they have and follow their rules.
