Devon is not just a marathoner. Remember all of his no loss supermatches. 6 rounds is not a marathon. A single match is more like a 40 yard dash, best of three more like 100, and 6 rounds is 200yarder. I was watching a sports science show that said there are a few football players that are actually faster to 40 yards then world class sprinters, but couldnt match there 100 yard times. So who's the fastest?

So who's the fastest? the man who's clocked at the higher mph. Therefore the 40 yard sprinter. Simple. Where it gets complicated is when u ask "who is the best runner?" it's very subjective. Aw is similar in this way. In a best of 7 Devon plausibly beats Pushkar due to endurance, adjustability, versatility etc.. But in a ONE match for 10 000$, pushkar wins due to the more "dominant" and explosive move... So who is the best? What is criteria for best? It's subjective.

I was watching a sports science show that said there are a few football players that are actually faster to 40 yards then world class sprinters, but couldnt match there 100 yard times. So who's the fastest? Although the 40-yard dash is not an official race in track and field, the 60 meter dash is an official distance in indoor track and field, with the world record for that race being 6.39 seconds (run twice by Maurice Greene, and once by Ben Johnson, whose record was annulled for Steroids). The fastest 60m split time is probably 6.32 seconds by Asafa Powell, in his 9.74 second 100m World Record run in Rieti, Italy. Fast starting elite sprinters such as Powell (and others past and present) can run a "Football 40" close to 4 seconds, because the sprinter does not have to react to the sound of the gun, and the starter has to react to their movement before the clock starts. In the 2001 World Championship 100m final in Edmonton, Greene covered 30m in 3.75 seconds running time and 40m in 4.64 seconds running time, putting his 40 yard (36.576m) running time at about 4.24 seconds. Given a hypothetical timer's reaction time to Greene's motion, Greene's "Football 40" time for this race would have been between 4.00 and 4.14 seconds. Billy Emory ran the fastest time ever at 3.89 during an Olympic trial. Read more: wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_fast_40_time_ever#ixzz1T5fVGnZ9

I belives devon has not won all his matches . I tied him 3-3 exactly my point..he's king of 6 rounders but best of three is very questionable..Marathon vs sprinter theory Ugh...SoNo Ct, BBear.. best of 3......Devon 2-0 over DAVE RANDALL......Maybe Dave Randall don't count.

Christian, do not argue with people that have been in this sport as long as a TV dinner. They know everything.

Yeah, I wonder what would happen if Devon "worked out real hard" and got to 300 pounds. Would anyone even question who the best was? He dose not need the extra weight!!! The man is awesome! No disrespect to Mr.Todd because that man don't know the word for losing.. I just love the match between these to Armwrestling freaks this weekend.. ;-)

Christian, do not argue with people that have been in this sport as long as a TV dinner. They know everything. oh yeah...what was I thinking? Yes "roll your eyes" all you want, typical of you....You come up with a DUMBASS "thread", get criticism, by facts, and then YOU criticize.... Amazing how people/you "try" to have a constructive debate, bring up facts, and people/you just get stupid $hit back. AND PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS BOARD! I was pointing out, with ONE example, how Devon, beat possibly one of the top ten GREAT US Heavyweights of all time, who has, oh probably 30 Nat titles from the 220s to Supers. A guy who doesn't pull in SUPERmatches, BUT they BOTH trained for a 3 round SUPERmatch, and lost.Which is exactly what this "thread" was about DID YOU READ that last sentence?...Agreed to a THREE (3) round match..Now, can you find where MT beat a caliber of ARMwrestler like, Dave Randall in a THREE (3) round Match and won?..If, so, GREAT to him.... Oh, and of course, Devon didn't have to weigh 290lbs, or so to do it Look MT can, possibly at anytime get wins over Engins rankings ( the only GOOD rankings), but that he won matches 1 and 3 DOESN'T make him the best... So now go ahead with you dumbass comment or "rolling of your eyes"....

FREAK EYES...YOU'RE A HAS BEEN AND NEVER GONNA BE ANYTHING AGAIN IN THIS SPORT SO TAKE YOUR SH*T TALK SOMEWHERE ELSE......ok back to the topic...... Im not criticizing anyone for one..just throwing some food for thought out there...if you took your head out of Devons ass long enough you could SEE that... secondly, Woody has him 3-3 so there is a small question of doubt in him dominating best of three supermatches which is still arguable ,if that is the format that determines the best or not....I dont see a book anywhere saying best of 6 is the determination of a best armwrestler....so I am focusing on the best of three format and if it is more challenging for Devon with STRONGER pullers

That was ballsy. If I wanted to just p*ss him off, I'd make a comment on how important your latisimus dorsi is for armwrestling. But calling him names.... don't seem smart! To stay on topic: a very similar discussion happened when Travis pulled Devon right handed, didn't it? People started saying that on a best of 3 he was "beatable", as Travis either won or was very close to pinning him 1 or 2 times in those first 3 matches? (I don't remember very accurately now). This is just a reminder though, I'm not even gonna add an opinion on this one, as Pete wouldn't approve a non-puller's opinion (Just kidding Mr. Milano!)

That's the thing with this board...you have to many myopic thinkers talking down to people with less advancement than themselves....cough cough PETE ........everyone has different approaches in asking certain Questions.......then you get called a dumbass for opposing their views

Ok the Devon vs Underwood match in my opioion is not a fair or good judge of what a fresh for fresh match would be.Devon pulled Lupkes 6 times and was puposly getting into a hook 2 feel the power Don pulled one match with Yoshi then rested. Devon again pulled Bresnan in a couple of tough hooks. While Don had his way with Travis. So i think Don was a lot more fresh than Devon and fresh for fresh first match i think it would be different.
