I feel bad for Andrey who has to keep trying to power through these arms that are impossible to move. Next time Andrey!

a win is a win no matter how you slice it This is more like maswrestling... elbow does not touch the pad... arm is straight... shoulder under the table... any rules should apply for some time someone uses for example two hands

I don't like it but as long as it's within the Rules these guys will continue to Pull like that. Maybe there's a way to stop this from happening. From Shoulder Socket to the Hand should be no less than a 45 Degree Angle..... LOL.... How would you measure that other than guessing?

Tim B again Its not legal shoulder under table, arm straight out should have been called a foul!!!!!! Hey Tim, This is why I hate making calls from video, to me, his bicep stayed at worst level until he was in the winning position and then it dipped down just before he rotated. BUT the video is from below the table on the wrong side to accurately see if I am correct. If you are in a winning position as in just on your side of the table, then you can drop below the table.

Is the "Dead Drop" the new toproll?
J/K.
I also thought he didn't drop below until he was over center. The rules allow it, so it is what it is. I thought he should have been called for an elbow foul. You can see the point of his elbow go off the pad long before. You can raise up on your tricep so that your elbow lifts, but it can't extend beyond the border of the pad. I thought it did at 1:32 and again at 1:44, but it could have been the angle of the camera. That and Denis has so much muscle around his elbow I might be looking at his tricep tendon!

SEE TIME 1:51 ARM IS STRAIGHT !!! FOR ME IT IS POSITION OF LOSERS but is only my opinion... That is great, really impressive, and inspiring. Dennis took 3 months and perfected the infamous 'Canada Goose bone lock'. The best North Americans spent decades developing the same technique, and we have Cross Fit and Visalus. So.... if I shamelessly copied the Russian, and accounting for the innate stubbornness of the American, I could start in May, and by say September... Oooh Yea heh, a new level of confidence and power...

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't there a rule for a Downward Angled Humerus? I am just curious, I'm not even an armwrestler, but this is not meant with any disrespect, Michael Todd is an awesome human being from everything I've seen on the Internet. I am just wondering: if there is such rule, why is it never used? I seem to recall there was a rule about that. In that first pic Pawel posted, the upper arm is very clearly angled downwards. I just want to know if this rule is just in the WAF rulebook and is not a universal rule perhaps? Thanks for clarification!
