No sir that's a natural 76 guy SMASHING elite 98 guys and probably elite 220 if he's giving the chance! Your brother looked ridiculously strong at that TopRoll event as well. The bar blew up after he beat Bill the first and second time. Bill is still a very experienced technical armwrestler and pulled through but Josh is definitely moving on up.

I don't mind guys cutting weight, it's not my business. I have no problem with it. However I don't like the ones who whine about how hard it is, how much they're suffering, how much they are starving, etc just to make a weight class they have to cut into. I don't intend to say that every person who cuts whines about it. I just don't like the ones who do complain. I guess I also don't really like it when someone cuts to 123 or 132 so they can aw kids. You look at some of the top 132 people out there. They aren't kids. Kind of disrespectful to that class and those athletes IMO I train my butt off and walk around at 130ish. If I can make 121 easy, who's to say I shouldn't. And who's to say I'm going there to pull kids Brad Spine and Vazgen both make 132's if they want. They are def not kids. Paul Andrews and Maksim Khodu, Benji Dwyer same weight a couple years ago, incredibly strong "kids"

As usual Will you're eager to jump on. Funny that you're talking to me about respect after the things you've said to me in the past. I don't care if you feel disrespected by me, even though it wasn't my intention.
I didn't say all those guys are kids. In fact I said nothing like it. Have you ever seen kids in those classes? I have. Nothing disrespectful about that, unless you find truth disrespectful.
I never said you don't train hard, in fact I know you do so there is no need to point that out to me.
Go start your sh1t elsewhere, don't start it with me. Especially if you're going to misconstrue what I say.

Ok, see if you can follow this.
As I've stated.... I have seen kids armwrestle in that class. It's a common weight range for someone who is younger (ie. kid)
I did not call everyone in that class a kid. Nor did I say they don't train hard etc.
Can you follow that or do you need further explanation?
Don't try to vilify me. I don't care if you don't respect me or don't like me but do not try to change the meanings of what I say to suit your feelings of me.

From my own experience, limited as it is, I think that lighter weight class pullers tend to pull in the hook far more than bigger guys. I think it's cause mostly(not always)their hands are smaller and the feel more comfortable hooking. So sometimes really good lighter weight hookers can beat good top rollers in higher classes. I fell into that category of great toproll because of my hand and forearm but I had to learn to hook just as good before I left novice. John B said something along those lines before.
Pound for pound though I would say RVJ, Benji Dwyer, Vazgen, Larrat, Silvers

I would add on though that weight isn't important as people think. A guy weighing 500lbs won't be the best cause his arm isn't strong enough to support his weight anyway. Lighter guys usually have better metabolism than big guys, making it easier to make lighter weights but also harder to build muscle, and vice versa for slower metabolism pullers cutting weight but building muscle easier.

I see where you are coming from John, I started pulling at 15 or 16 and made 132 for a year or so, I'd have to cut a leg off to make that now. To the other side of the coin I have a buddy that walks around at 116 and fighta mma at 125 cause its the smallest class, he is 27 and probably will never be more than 20lbs heavier, just a small guy, not really the same as a 150 lbs guy cutting to 132 for ducking purposes

I think chad would smoke Corey... Not being rude, but Corey hasn't beaten "elite" 98s like chad has... Chad has beaten everyone... Even easy at times. Corey is great... No doubt... But not long ago Geoff hale ( who is also awesome), Brandon dye and Luke Kindt beat Corey.... These guys aren't close to chad... And the strongest of them lost 0-3 in a match with chad
I do like Bongard as well... He was/is a BAD boy

Best lb for lb means a sure bet in their own class and can hurt the classes above... Chaffee... He is a super... Last few times I saw him He is at 270+... Tim is a big dude too... So they belong in the "best".. Argument... Not lb4lb... That argument is for the best guy in his class to compare if he is more dominant in his realm than the heavy weight best... Like sugar ray... Vs Ali ... Obviously... Ali would kill him 50 out of 50 times, but was Ali as dominant in his class as ray was ?...that's an argument.. And a testament to the pound for pound case... In the us.. Guys that own their class... Brzenk and Todd... He is injured, but I'll. Give it to em Miller and myself are both successful at higher classes Nelson as he is 220 and wreaks havoc on most any heavy event Roman was one Patton... Dubriel... Fisher... Cobra... There are many good arguments 270+ Not even close to that. I was 255 at the Arnold and the Mike Gould Classic when you saw me last. And when I won the NAL in December , the scale there was way off for some reason. On My scale that morning I weighed 249 and I got weighed at the doctor 2 days later and I was 249 also... I won the triple crown last year at 242. Weighing in at 237 for the last two. As late as October last year I weighed 233 so I could pull 233 class and heavyweight at a tourney. Im not saying I am the best p4p puller in USA im just saying im nowhere near 270lbs! I would be a fat pig.
