In no order:
Dave Patton Travis Jason Vale
Jason Vale can blow your mind with how strong he is in the straps. I never felt anything like that.

Just trying to gain some insight, but what makes these pullers better in the strap? I've learned a few things that help myself benefit more with the strap but I am curious as to what these pullers do to benefit them. I haven't pulled any of the aforementioned pullers. Maybe someone that has can help out.

I'd say best strap puller is someone who may or may not have a match.... Maybe even the underdog... Then they get straps... Party time !!! Guys where I don't have a clue what they do but in the straps are different pullers.
Vale Sinks Retarides Klemba Frank hurst Pete Milano when he pulled Matt harris Travis
Now guys like brzenk and cobra are great strap guys but are great all around so it doesn't count.., I'm talkin guys who effectively use the straps to hit another level...travis... As great as he may be.. He can use the strap as a weapon if need be just like the rest on my list.

At the Main Event in Idaho back in Mid to late 90's. John Brzenk was pulling Jason Vale. First match was Slip/Strap and John won in a great match. John comes down and says "That man is a totally different person in the Strap" In the finals John clamped on to Jason's thumb and never let him slip. It took a little time to pin him.
At another event after Jason beat Allen Fisher in the strap. Allen said, "I haven't felt back pressure like that since Dave Patton"
Jason's hand strength was not that great but his back and side pressure was incredible.
Jason will tell you he got his back pressure from swinging in playground swings and his side pressure came from hand ball.

I have to agree with Bob. Jason Vale has always been the man in the straps. On a side note after watching Bob and Ron in the straps at nationals. Bob has taken a page out of Jasons play book

Jason Vale is the man in the straps. Bill Sinks is a close second. This is in USA of course. World wide I have no idea who is really great in straps, I guess someone can ask Engin-John on their facebook page that same question.
