My god, y all the questions IF u haven't signed? If u do or did, then u will know where, when and how u can compete... So it's on those that sign on what they do. If they show and compete, and r NOT allowed to, contractually. Robert came on the board and said he'd need 300+ pullers. Is it not fair to ask for some details?

If they show and compete, and r NOT allowed to, contractually. A legitimate point. I will not be signed/sign with UAL even though I think they are an awesome organization. I am nothing more than a decent amateur. I consider me asking the question kind of a PSA for other, more appealing athletes, who are considering signing with UAL. It is called a discussion board is it not? Whether or not a person is the President of the United States does not limit the questions one can ask regarding the President. I simply asked a question that I hadn't seen yet, if it benefits somebody else then great! OMG, From time to time I say I won't post any more, and i take a break from the board, this maybe one of hose times, but I continue to look and do.. U THINK Robert or Bill is going to come on here and answer every IRRELEVANT question? u all already know that their SIGNED Athletes can NOT answer. can you imagine how full the PMs and e-mail accts r with EVERY FORKING AWer asking to sign or asking questions like urs? I am sure that ONCE u sign, IF YOU DO, THEN YOU CONTRACT WILL STATE WHAT U CAN AND CAN NOT DO. FROM THAT PT FORWARD.

Well, when someone asks who do you think will be in such and such class, I'd like to make sense when I say last year x/y/z pullers were here and should be back again this year to pull. Who is going to attend is very important to some arm wrestlers since beating "that guy" to get his rank or bragging rights seems to be what a lot of pullers are doing these days. It's also benefical sometimes to promote pullers who have pulled that will pull again creating buzz for some of the matchups and classes. Ex. Logsdon and Barnett, Barnett took his first lost in almost 2 years left handed, will he be able to come back and beat Logsdon next year. I like to know who is going and promote specific classes or matchups so it would be nice to know. Ok, u got me. And ur a Promoter? ....

The reason their inbox is overwhelmed is because they invited it on themselves by offering little to no details on here. If more details were posted on the message board it would certainly reduce the number of people asking 'irrelevant' questions via PM or email.

Our team has had some very successful, large turnout events focused on the growth of the new guy, often highlighted with some outstanding super matches. A lot of the new guys are fans of the folks signed by the UAL and it would be move to know if covering expenses of a contracted UAL puller to have a supermatch to help promote an event is even a possibility. I think it would be a win/win for us and UAL. Having Vazgen and Bishop pull in April of this year in front of well over 100 novice entries created a lot of fans and some of those guys are already good open pullers that the UAL could possibly "farm" at a later date.

I can't really comment yet on the behind the scenes workings, signing armwrestlers etc. I do get the idea of exclusives could potentially limit match-ups. I hope not, as perhaps some exceptions can be made, and already there was hinting at non-UAL pullers being able to come in for some matches.
All I know is this.... I tuned in to watch the Vegas matchups. I very much enjoyed the format, the side entry screens etc. Some amazing matches took place that day. However, from a fan perspective, what got me going? Robert slamming 5000.00 down to make a fan desired match happen.
This should be a category with every single UAL event. The fan supermatch. We want to see RVJ vs. Allen Ford? Fan match! A reputable promoter to perhaps set up a Devon/Denis/Christian match? Fan match. I was inspired by this and another recent thread where there was some speculation on which match ups we'd like to see. This alone would be a valuable promotional tool, in my opinion. I'm watching, and hoping from the sidelines, and I'll try to be there for the next event to watch online. So far, so good.
