Who said Devon was "other worldly"?
Answer: Nobody
You are correct, Devon did lose to Todd and Bresnan - However he won within the paramerters. Therefore stating that he lost is only giving a portion of the picture.
Loss to Underwood? Are you referring to the Arnold pin that was 2 inches above the pinline? Or the Arm Wars match where Devon pulled Bresnan and Lupkes to 6 rounds and Don pulled one match with Yoshi and nothing else? Perspective is a wonderful thing.
Denis is probably the best right now but I'd give even odds that M. Todd would beat him in a best of format. I'd give almost even odds that Bresnan (styles) could take Denis as well (Denis only slight favorite). It would not shock me that Cadorette gives Denis problems as well (styles).
You were asking a question and for opinions as well. You got some that you didn't like, it happens.

Check that:
I'd give Todd the edge over Denis.

Lost the best of... But did beat him in a match... As did krasimer... Which shows there are others in his league ... He is not other worldly... Sorry joHN BRINGS UP A VERY GOOD QUESTION: IF DEVON IS NOT OTHER WORLDLY......ARSEN IS NOT OTHER WORLDLY......AND THE PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE BEATEN ARE NOT OTHER WORLDLY....THEN WHO WOULD YOU CONSIDER OTHER WORLDLY?

Here is your first sentence in your opening post:
"i am curious what some of you have to say about the man that i would call "the best armwrestler in the world .....right now""
I said Denis probably was.
You then asked this:
"if you do not agree with my choice for "best armwrestler in the world.....right now"....then who do you think deserves this accolade. (please use current pullers ....hence the "right now" reference)"
(see my previous answer)
Perhaps you missed that post....
You go on to speak about comprehension?
Ok, you dont' use punctuation, capitalization, sentence structure, you have no idea how to use a comma, as far as I see you don't even know there is a spell check. Need I go on? You're trolling yourself right now Max.
I did not bash any other armwrestlers. I spoke the truth about Arsen and listed other greats in a previous post. Do you even read or just wait to type something foolish? You ask someone who hasn't lost a one vs one in 5 years to prove himself? Not only that but I assume you know the murder's row of his opponents - if not, please use the internet it's good for research.

By the way, I'd list Arsen (if he's not banned) as a top 10 competitor.
He's certainly one of, if not the most dangerous hitters.
Rustam (also caught cheating and banned) could be considered higher on the imaginary P4P list along with Zoloev. Historically, Zoloev held the highest spot there but he was just defeated this year. As one can tell, P4P lists are quite subjective.

My mistake it was Rustam who was defeated earlier this year, not Zoloev. Josh H might be the one to set the record straight.

1) IS THERE A LEGITIMATE ARGUMENT FOR ARSEN LILIEV TO BE CONSIDERED THE BEST POUND FOR POUND ARMWRESTLER IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW? 2) BREAK DOWN HIS STYLE OF PULLING. 3) WHY HAS HE BEEN SO SUCCESSFUL? 4) IF NOT ARSEN....THEN WHO IS THE BEST POUND FOR POUND? A little newbie giving the questionnaire a shot. 1. No 2. Fast/quick/strong/elbow fouls I know fast and quick are the same but he's really incredible. 3. Fast/quick/strong/elbow fouls/juice 4. A 220 lb Toddzilla. Please don't yell at me.

I know you are but what am i? hows that? did i use perfect punctuation? hows my sentence structure? lol are you here to give english lessons? cus the next time i head back to college i can send you my term papers to grade if you like. the tactic yo are using is called deflection....its also used to mask your insecurities.... and didnt you say in a previous post you were gonna leave this thread? lol yet here you are. my questions were all as related to the best "pound for pound armwrestler".......re read my post(s).....(hence the "reading comprehension" mention in my previous post) and please know the difference between reading comprehension, spelling, grammar and punctuation next time you try to insult someone. ....these terms are not synonymous nor are they interchangeable. and allow me to show you my power of comprehension: i know (as does anyone else in the world that will listen to you crow about it) that Devon is your hero....and thats cool...he is deserving of such an entourage....but when you go about singing it alike the town crier and/or village idiot it gets annoying. your view of the armwrestling world is very subjective...and it shows. i guess you are to Devon what todd king is to Karl stanley....and its cool. Devon is a bad dude. but just because we dont all swing on the same set of nuts as you doesnt mean we cant all be friends. lol and you dont bash people? what? BS. you bashed me to start with...then bashed Arsen...thats two people at least in just your first couple posts on this single thread. so if you dont like the tone of my replies to you...then dont dish it out. please feel free to check my spelling, grammar, syntax, and composition as you see fit because i sure as hell didnt. i am awaiting my grade.

(see john...its not that hard) so who would you say would be the number 1 pound for pound armwrestler int the world RIGHT NOW! a 220 pound todzilla is a myth as of right now....or at least a 220 pound todzilla that is pulling in the 220 pound class. i really stress the right now thing because the debate has always been: well a 25 year old john would....or a 240 john would.....or a healthy so and so would...well thats not the case...i wanna know about right now. no hypotheticals. i can pose the same question in a different manner: WHO WEIGHS THE SAME OR LESS THAN ARSEN THAT HAS A BETTER CHANCE AGAINST THE TOP HEAVY WEIGHTS IN THE WORLD?

id like to hear real input....minus the sarcastic and disrespectful undertones resulting from personal bias.
if we can get on with a real debate and shy away from being rude and disrespectful as a form of discourse and conversation i would appreciate it...i know how to do that...i used to do it when i was 15 or so....and i feel like im being tricked into regression....i i wont address any further posts of this nature.
anyone?

i do find it interesting, Derek, that you find that Krasimir more able to compete against the heavy weights than Arsen even though historically Arsen has owned Krasimir. im not sure the record but it is incredibly one sided in Arsens favor.
and the fact that Arsen has wins over cyplenkov, brzenk, bagent, pushkar, ...just about anyone he has ever faced at any weight.
