There have been many athletes, even out of the countries that like the Don't move go, vs Ready go!
Which do you like...
My take is the "don't move" is a command and is easy to separate cadence.
Ready is the command and runs into the "go" making it one word readygo...
There is are a few referees that can separate the ready..go making it a two words process.

I prefer the don't move, ready go,and then if they move between the don't move and ready go then it's a false start, and a fast ready go

The only pullers I see not liking it is the ones who rely on the Y for the win. Haven't had a chance to us the "don't move,go" in a tournament yet.. Only in practice and IMO it removes the grey area on early starts.

Is it really that different? Go on the V in move instead of the Y in ready.
On this topic, I lime Dave Randall's start best. He asks "y'all like that? Don't move. Ready, go!"

Definitely dont move, go. It keeps alot of guys from jumping on the start. AAA ready go is pretty much one word mumbled really fast. So yeah im all for dont move, go

I agree with Travis and Erick. I like ready go but there has to be a signal first that its coming. Don't move before ready go or "I'm gonna start you". I wasn't as the Cobra classic in 2012 but saw videos and Cobra would say "I'm gonna give the command" and then give a ready to, that seemed perfect.

READYGO sucks.
Don't Move - Go is about as clear as it can be made to someone.

I like don't move ready go. Lol I think don't move go takes away some of my hit. Guess you gotta get used to it tho.

I like Ready? GO Its a question not ReadyGo or Ready...GO Ready go is a question if the cadence is done very slow such as ready.......go, how many matches are said with that slow of a cadence. I think Leonard is the only referee who says, ready ...go as two words. Don't move go is a command not a question.

There has only been 30 years to try to get refs to pause between Ready and Go. Maybe 30 more years will be enough to get them all trained.
OR...
We can just accept that most armwrestlers know for a fact you are an idiot if you wait for GO because most refs can't figure it out. They can't call false starts because they themselves have no idea when Ready ended and Go began.
Even a moron can figure out Don't Move, GO.
There is no possible way your hit can be affected if everyone was waiting to hear GO to hit in the first place.
I swear on all that is holy I spend the first three rounds of every event calling false starts- because I pause and because I vary the cadence. You wouldn't believe how many people think I'm doing it wrong.
