I still can't see a disadvantage to uncapping. You can get high without getting stupid gonna slip immediately high... And really get better control . Plus the thumbs are a natural spacer... It's perfect to me. The angle of your wrist and direction of pressures will create height if desired... It is possible to post uncapped... So why not ? It seems simple

Mike, I mean an answer to the "fair grip" question. I am saying both pullers uncap. If there was a change letting pullers grip how they may but capping is a thing of the past... I'm not referring to our current system where uncapping opens the door to getting triple capped over your whole hand. I don't see how all techniques can't be executed and how it wouldn't eliminate many current problems if both uncap.

I understand Rob, your correct it would solve it, but I wouldn't want to hear all the crying about that either. Biggest problem I personally have is most people don't want my fingers on the back of their hand If you cap stay off my knuckle

Sometimes people cry about a situation where the real culprit is they are simply outmanned... That is the real elephant in this room

^ which is why I believe that simplifying the sport it the way to go.
Get back to pinning people. Everything else is a distraction. Sure, you have to have some basic rules, but when every discussion of the sport centers around rules then we have truly lost touch with the heart of the sport.

I agree with this and I would be happy to have everyone go uncapped. The last tournament I hosted we called elbow fouls for position gained only, used the NAL version of the refs grip, and it was the smoothest tournament I have ran even in the pros. Not one person fouled out and we saw a ton of really exciting matches.

Exactly right. This is armwrestling the way it was intended.
