I, for one, support Cobra. This is obsurd. Cobra can't compete at worlds. Cobra has made an incredible comeback to the sport, won the triple crown, and qualified for the worlds. The WAF has no business to say that. I am so disgusted by this. We finally unified, and now there is more crap. How can this be? Someone needs to step up to the plate, and get this resolved. So what if armwrestlers are making some money. As long as Cobra passes the drug testing the WAF shouldn't have anything to say. Let's all get together and support Cobra on this matter.

Cobra or any other athlete pulling any show, anywhere, it is tragic anyone would even try to do something like this. I feel for Artem as well, how much more can they heap on this kid?

I think that people should be able to pull for whomever they want without penalty until organizations start signing armwrestlers to contracts that will allow them to make decent money.

I agree until you sign an exclusivity contract, we should be able to pull anywhere we want, we all lose money competing in this sport who has the right to try and keep us from making a little when it is available or even just pulling where we want to?
What is next, they ban Cobra from the WAF for pulling in the IPAA then the WAF bans anyone that pulls in a seperate other event with Cobra, then they ban anyone that pulls with those that pulled with Cobra.....

Thank you Willy that would probably be in WAF best interest to resolve this matter very soon, being TEAM USA manager and president of the USAF, this topic shall not be ignored. Too have one of our (USA) pullers be punished for something that is out of his control is ludicrous. I've had several team pullers have second thoughts of attending the WAF championship and it a shame what has happened, until you have a solid written protocol on the doping band, these actions should not be warranted to any puller. Your a man of integrity and were counting on you to make the right decision.

He reads this board and speaks perfect English. As the president I would think he would want to put this matter to bed.

Armwrestling.......It's not like Baseball or Basketball or Football....BECAUSE...THE ATHLETES LOSE MONEY JUST ATTENDING THE G0DD*MN EVENT. IF THIS IS WHAT THE USAA IS ABOUT, I WILL HAVE NOTHING MORE TO DO WITH IT.

Ban the first Triple Crown Winner? I'm not well versed in the organizational politics. Never have been able to really devote the time to sort out the rifts that over the years have developed between org's and individuals or groups. No organization or commitee should become so self important that they lose track of the direction the represented faction would like to go. Example, NCAA. Andrew Rhodes has been everything from Color Commentator to Triple Crown Winner. And an Inspiration to the likes of us that haven't been. He's a big reason some of us lay out thousands of dollars over the years to go to the big venues and get a chance to pull the likes of him. Sort it out, settle it, but please fix it.
